  never never Crostol Belle Epoque !!!

  Fik et værelse op under taget, 5 sal, ingen vinduer i badeværelse som kunne åbnes, morgenmad blev henvist vist til et andet hotel 250m væk, elevator kun til 4 sal, derefter en lille trappe op. Ingen brandtrappe eller exit. Vi klagede til respetionen, da vi har betalt 3000 kr pr. nat - de var totalt afvisende.Nok det værste vi nogensinde har prøvet.....We were given a room right under the roof on the 5th floor; the bathroom had no windows that could be opened, we were directed to a different hotel 250 meters away for breakfast, and the elevator only went up to the 4th floor, leaving a small flight of stairs to climb after that. No fire exit. We complained to the reception—considering we paid 3,000 DKK per night—they couldn't care less....Probably the worst experience we’ve ever had...

  The hotel is in a convenient location near the train station and a few minutes walk to the beach. Neighbourhoods near train stations in France a somewhat rough. The hotel is definitely not 4*. It’s a basic 3*. Very tired looking and dirty carpets in the staircases. The rooms very basic. The staff were friendly.

  One of the worst "4 Star" Hotels I have ever stayed at.

  Avoid this hotel at all costs, especially during the Cannes Film Festival.We paid a substantial premium rate for a 6-night stay at Crisol Belle Epoque, a property listed as a 4-star hotel, and the experience fell dramatically below even the most basic hospitality standards one should expect at that level.Over the course of six nights, our room was only serviced TWICE. Even then, “cleaning” consisted solely of making the bed and replacing towels. The room was never properly cleaned once. The carpets were stained, old, and fraying, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, used coffee mugs sat untouched for days, and coffee pods were never replenished throughout the entire stay. We eventually gave up and bought coffee elsewhere every morning.We also repeatedly ran out of toilet paper and had to ask the front desk for additional rolls multiple times during the week, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one advertising itself as a 4-star property charging Cannes Film Festival pricing.One of the only times the room was “cleaned,” it was done by the front desk employee rather than housekeeping staff, which made it very clear the hotel was severely understaffed and unprepared for guests during one of the busiest weeks of the year.The bathroom setup was also terrible. There was no proper shower barrier/glass wall for the tub, so the bathroom floor flooded after every single shower.What made the experience even worse was management’s complete indifference. We requested to speak with management regarding our concerns and were told they would call us back. They never did. After enduring these issues for nearly a week, we requested a simple one-hour late checkout as a courtesy and were flatly denied.At a minimum, a 4-star hotel should be able to provide consistent housekeeping, basic cleanliness, stocked toiletries and supplies, and responsive guest service. None of those minimum expectations were met here.This hotel charges Cannes Film Festival pricing while delivering worse service than a budget roadside motel. Poorly maintained, severely understaffed, and completely lacking in basic hospitality standards.There are countless hotel options in Cannes. Stay literally anywhere else.

  Brilliant location, lovely staff, good rooms.

  We visited for ~10 days (after it became a Sonder hotel by Marriott). Good hotel with kind staff. Very very good location with a beautiful pedestrian area with lots of restaurants, and immersed into the centre of Cannes shopping and beach district. Having said this, if you often go to 4 star or more upscale hotels, you might be a little underwhelmed. It’s missing a fair amount of the luxuries, and is a little “rustic” in some cases.Nevertheless, it is mostly nice and clean, everything works, and I like the app functionality.   Fantastic Stay - Highly Recommend!

  My daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is ideal – just a 2 minute walk from the train station and a short stroll to the beach and lots of great restaurants.The staff were amazing - a big thank you to Zack, Emma, Edith and one more lovely team member whose name I unfortunately forgot (so sorry!). Everyone was so friendly, helpful and genuinely attentive. Special shout out to Zack for kindly giving us an extra hour for check out and to Emma for arranging for us to store our bags at the hotel’s branch in Nice near the airport on our last day - that really made things so much easier for us.We also really appreciated the free coffee and water station, such a small touch but it goes a long way and shows that the hotel truly values guest comfort rather than charging for every little thing.The room wasn’t huge but the bed was very comfy and having a fridge was really convenient.Would definitely stay again – highly recommended!
