  Beautiful location but ........

  We stayed here for two nights as part of a group for the rugby world cup. The hotel is very nice and the views are stunning, beautiful small beaches with lots of water activities. The room was a good size with plenty of space for the cases.For a hotel like this the breakfast was a huge disappointment, very little choice and as breakfast finished at 10am items were not replenished from about 9:30 so there was next to nothing left by 10am. On our departure day we were down just before 7:30 (when it opens) but the tables weren't set up and we had to ask to go in and use the coffee machine, which was very nice. Everything felt very last minute.There are a few restaurants and shops which were all lovely and the restaurants back at the ferry point were also great.All in all we enjoyed our stay but I expected better.   It was very odd having to catch a ferry to get to & from the hotel which was a bit limiting, however there were plenty facilities on the island - well stocked shop, restaurants (only 2 open when we were there) and a lively bar. There is also good local walking and a beach. The bedrooms, which are spread out over many separate buildings, were dated and much in need of refurbishment. Ours smelled of fish for some reason, maybe a previous occupant had cooked their catch because there was a small kitchen. There's not much in the village (le Brusc) on other side of water and not much parking for a hire car. Breakfast was OK but they did not keep it stocked so it quickly ran out of most items, however it was nice sitting outside on the terrace to eat overlooking the marina.   Interesting experience, from all points of view

  First interaction was inefficient. I have called from the embarkment point to let them know that we are arriving and to pick us up from the port. Nobody answer to the phone, even if the time was around 20.00. So we walk approx. 700 matters with our luggage to the hotel. Very inefficient staff, not willing to assist you in any matter. No help in reservations to any other restaurants. Impression was that you are feeling to stay into hospital. Quality of sleep good, internet is working fine. Good remark for the dinner, good quality. And a special thanks for Ludovic, very efficient in finding solutions. Breakfast good, with a lot of opportunities.

  Horrible service

  The bar in hotel isn't functioning.There is no room service.The biggest horror is that today I have arrived on breakfast at 9h30 and now it is 10h53 and I haven't been served yet. Horrible organisation, it is unacceptable to have this kind of horrible organisation in this kind kind of hotel. It is a disaster. As you may know, we now have to respect a physical distance for your safety, so our bar area is now dedicated to the restaurant. We made this choice to welcome all of our customers in our hotel restaurant. Moreover, there are several others bars you can choose from on the island, at just a few minutes by foot from our hotel. We had difficulties in organizing breakfast, with very strict constraints, we regret it and have done everything in our power to resolve this as soon as possible.Regards,

  I enjoyed my stay in Hotel Helios very much. Good food. neat and tidy bedrooms. friendly members of staff.. Miss Diana Valero a member of dining hall staff was very kind and helpful to me I which have appreciated very much.Places of interest near by. I like to go to Hotel Helios again next year.
