Location

This hotel enjoys a central location and is only separated from a superb sandy beach by a small park and the coastal road. It is located within walking distance of the old town quarter of Le Suquet, only a few steps away from the city centre as well as the congress centre. The harbour, the splendid avenue La Croisette and the Palais des Festivals are also within easy reach. A selection of shopping and entertainment venues are also to be found in the immediate vicinity. Cannes Train Station is some 1 km from the hotel and the airport is around 25 km away.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in an 8-storey building with a lift and 48 non-smoking rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service and a safe are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel offers a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service and a laundry service. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a projector.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a queen-sized bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, microwave, tea/coffee station and dishwasher. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam and massage treatments.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a breakfast room and a bar. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day.

    We spent the best time of our trip along the French Riviera at this hotel. Everything was of the highest standard: a superior room designed with great taste and elegance, a comfortable double bed, a spacious bathroom, excellent cleanliness and in-room amenities, and exceptionally kind and professional hotel staff who took care of our comfort at all times (special thanks to Vera and Kevin!).The hotel features a spa and wellness area that is a must to experience — there is truly something for everyone. On the top floor, the hotel has a restaurant with a beautiful view of the city and the sea, where you can enjoy the brunch menu at lunchtime — outstanding food paired with excellent service.We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and only regret that our stay was so short.     Warning ! Read before booking … please !

    Of all the Bells and whistles , all the fancy things and nice extras a hotel can offer , nothing can compete with the absolute grandeur of a good nights sleep.Not only is the belle plage very far and away from a standard five star hotel , it is in fact a very poor 3 star hotel. Please do not come here expecting any of the beauty and refinement of French Riviera style , in fact you might very well , like me , be deprived of even the most basic of all luxuries , a good nights sleep.The very very first thing the hotel should advertise is that half its rooms , are basically dead center practically leaning on a busy highway, it’s like staying in a motel where a car passes by literally every five seconds THROUGHOUT the night l. Add to that a busy fraternity house like all night rambling of loud voices , cars , trucks - it will knock the five stars out of you , by this time you will praying and hoping for the seclusion of a starless hostel bed, instead of this inane and absent luxury.I pointed out this tiny un - five star failing to my unsympathetic host , who grinningly offered me the alternatives of a 1000 euro upgrade or a pair of ear plugs , I chose the other alternative of exerting myself in an alcoholic binge, but that too could put me to sleep , in this all night circus ride of a hotel. Other than sleep , there is absolutely nothing else that would recommend this hotel , the location is far from the Croisette , there are no bells and whistles , no grounds , no refinement , no service whatsoever , nothing at all that recommends it to any deal of minute luxury. Only startling motor cycling sounds throughout the night lulling you into a peaceful night of wakefulness: a human rights violation if you ask me. The French star rating agency should really get its act together , before people keep getting duped. Do not be pitifully lured like I was to five stars , pay a little extra and stay at the Carlton on Martinez if your the fancy type , if your not then save your sanity and stay at a nice tucked in , sound sensitive place , irrespective of the stars.
