Location

This comfortable hotel enjoys a peaceful location near the Park Montfleury, underneath the famous La Californie hills. The centre of Cannes, the beach and the festival centre are only around 10 minutes away. By making use of public transport (the nearest connections are around 100 m away), guests are able to gain easy access to all the important places of interest in the city. The transfer to Nice airport takes about 30 minutes.

Facility

182 rooms, including 4 single rooms and 177 double rooms, are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and drinks machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     A Health Hazard – This Hotel Should Be Shut Down

    I was unfortunate enough to be placed at Hotel Cannes Montfleury by EasyJet after a flight cancellation, and it was an absolute nightmare. As a healthcare professional, I can confidently say that this establishment poses serious health risks and should not be operating.There were five of us, each with separate rooms, and every single one was equally appalling, therefore this wasn’t an isolated incident. The carpets were filthy with burns and stains, dust mites were visibly infesting the furniture. The air was thick with dust, and mould was spewing out of the vents, posing a significant health hazard. The curtains were stained with unidentifiable substances, and the rooms had a pervasive, nauseating smell of urine. To make matters worse, there were dirty towels and tissues left in the bathrooms, and empty beer cans discarded on the balconies. There was even mould in the lifts. The beds were beyond disgusting. In my room, I found pubic hair on the sheets and lipstick smears, clear evidence that they had not been changed or washed after the previous guest. The showers were completely non-functional, making the entire experience even more miserable.When I brought these issues to the manager's attention, she shockingly admitted that she was fully aware of the situation, including the hair in the bed, and seemed completely unfazed. It's clear from other reviews that this is a widespread issue throughout the hotel.This hotel should be shut down immediately for the health and safety of anyone who might be unfortunate enough to stay here. Avoid at all costs.

    This was close to the worst hotel experience that I have ever had in my entire life. Having stayed eight years ago, we never figured testing the current evaluation. We simply just booked a week based on our previous experience.We arrived in a room which hadn’t been cleaned. The wallpaper didn’t stick to the wall due to the humid conditions in the rooms. The hotel in general showed excessive water damage and the windows hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. I approached the front desk and asked for a hotel manager. The guy who claimed to be the hotel manager promised that we could get a full refund if we chose to leave the morning after. This is due to the fact that the hotel is supposed to be closed down in three months time. The next morning when checking out we were told that we couldn’t get a full refund, and the guy yesterday wasn’t really the hotel manager.Did I mentioned breakfast buffet was disfigured by 30 pigeons?Worst hotel Experience ever.

    Stay Away Unless DESPERATE!

    Awful!!! The pictures are false advertising. The carpet is filthy and the room is warm and smells moldy. The furniture is old and damaged. Wanted to give a fair warning especially in case you are booking far away from home and have no other options when you arrive.

    Absolutely awful the kid behind the desk was rude I did t get the pool size room he said he was the manger which was a lie bed was old everything old, silver fish in the room. Safe not working. Do not disturb sign on my door a man walked in unannounced, dirty hotel smelly and does not look at all like the photos. Highly disappointed BEWARE

    Dismal!!The pictures from the website looked great, unfortunately, the reality was far from perfect. In reception, the render on the ceiling was falling off which raised alarm bells. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there, here comes the list:1, Bed sheets had holes in them, they looked warn or chewed. 2, The skirtings had come off the walls 3, Paint was peeling from the balcony and pool area4, The bar was not available no reason was given5, My safe gave a suspicious error code and would not open 6, Carpets were stained and dirty 7, The walls in the corridors had holes in them like they had been rammed or punched8, All lights were off during the day, and we had to use my phone light to navigate the corridors. 9, Not as important but there was what looked like a bottle of wee outside my balcony on the grass verge, it looked like it had been thrown out of a window. The worst thing was you did not feel like you could bring these issues up with the staff as when we tried to ask some questions they laughed and shrugged a lot! Yea…. Please do not stay here!!
