  Great location, basic hotel, would return

  Perfectly decent hotel if all you really need is a central place to wash, sleep and store your things. At the price they charge (for Cannes), it’s pretty good value. I stayed during a major festival and rooms were Euro200/night. For this you get a very basic room, but it’s clean. No hairdryer, no iron, no kettle. Minimum French channels on the TV. Bathroom is shower, sink, toilet, tiny bar of soap and dispenser in the shower, so take your own embellishments. Staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful.Breakfast was also basic, but did the job.Entry after 7pm is via entry phone and keypad code. The street was very noisy when I arrived so couldn’t hear the response properly and a member of staff from another hotel was promptly sent to open the door. Otherwise, no entry issues.Location is the greatest asset of this hotel. Minutes from the beach, restaurants, shops and Palais. I always use earplugs in hotels and you need them here, but because of the location. I will be in Cannes every six months and would consider the PLM again.

  As described. Budget hotel with decent location. For €70, you probably can’t expect more. Quiet noisy inside.

  Hotel location is great. Parking quite close, €25 per24hrs. Woken 3 times in night as doors closing in corridors are noisy. Cleaner banged doors at 850am with vacuum. Room clean, bathroom dated, carpet worn, bed comfy, strong shower. 6.5.

  Great Location - Very bad cleaning service

  The hotel has a very good location, as it is in the center of Cannes and very close to Palais de Festivals. Unfortunately the room was not cleaned - especially the bathroom! The shower was dirty and I found hair in the washbasin and it was still there after the housekeeping service on the 2nd day of my stay. There is no soundproof as you hear everything is happening (TV, door opening/closing, mobile ringing) from the rooms next to yours. The breakfast and the room size was good but nothing special, which is ok if you consider that the room rate was not so high so I had also no high expectations.I would come back again only if the room was at least basically cleaned.

  Pictures show a bigger room as they are. Not much space (superior room). We booked the room for the bathtub shown in the pictures,but the bottom of it was dirty. Location of the hotel is awesome. Between the beach and mainstation.

  Basic clean & comfy hotel in good location

  The hotel is perfect for a little "city break" for singles and couples. The rooms are quite small and the bathroom even smaller. We thought 8 euros pp each morning was a bit steep for a continental breakfast, also no kettle and coffee making facilitates in the room was annoying.The worse thing about this place is that there it is located right by a designated motorbike/scooter parking lane which becomes incredibly noisy. It got really warm in the room but my wife doesn't like having the air con on much as it makes her ill so we prefer to keep a window open instead but couldn't do this because it was so noisy with motorbikes driving off and parking down the road 24 hours a day. Not really anything the hotel can do about it but be warned when considering this hotel!
