Good hotel for a short stay.

    rating23 Jun 2025

Location is great only a 15 minute walk down to the beach. My room was very basic however very clean and tidy. Nice hot shower with good water pressure. Elevator available to get luggage up to the room. However, no safe available to store valuables.

    Awful

    rating06 Jun 2025

This hotel was the worst I’ve ever stayed in. The toilet was filthy and smelt. The room was tiny and the bed and pillow were horrible, the pillow was so soft there was no neck or head support and the bed was rock solid. The bedding was ripped. The maid came into our room once and didn’t even change the bedding. You either had to have the blind fully shut or fully open. There’s only one lift for the seven floors so you always had to wait. And I queued for nearly 20 minutes at reception one day just for the man behind it to allow someone to push in front of me. I couldn’t wait to leave.

Excellent budget hotel in good location

    rating09 Aug 2024

Excellent budget hotel. This hotel is about a 10 minutes walk from the train station away from the sea and about a 15 minute walk to the centre and down to beach front. We arrived too early to check in, so we dropped our bags in a luggage room and went out. After checking into a room on the 3rd floor, yes, it is small with very little room to move around, but who stays in a room for long?Comfortable, clean bed, hanging space, table, and chair. There was air con, which was a huge plus in the extreme heat.Small shower room with shower gel. No hair dryer, but you could borrow from reception. There was also a tv with an English news channel.Staff were friendly. Breakfast available yo purchase at €8:50. It's not a bad price. Choice of pastries, bread, spreads, cereal ham and cheese, hot drink, and fruit juice. There is a vending machine in reception for drinks and snacks. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again and would recommend as a budget option. The hotel was also surprisingly quiet.

Horrible - this is not the experience that you’re looking for your trip in France

    rating10 May 2024

The smallest rooms I ever seen, when you will arrive your first and big problem will be where to put your luggage; we were two with two medium luggage and we couldn’t move around the room because we didn’t have enough space (we had to put our clothes in the small wardrobe and around any possible surface in the room so we could close the luggage and put them under the bed). Good luck with the bathrooms, they don’t have windows and in our room the fan didn’t work. So if you want to have an hot shower you have to open the door or you will suffocate in the sauna that will have formed in few seconds and for the toilet just hope that you are the first to use the bathroom or bring with you a room profume. What about the privacy then? There isn’t any! Some rooms are connected with other rooms so if you open the door inside the room and the other people do the same you can just enjoy the life with people that you don’t know! Yes, you can just close the door, that it is right but anyway you will hear everything from the other room. If you are unlucky, as we were, you will have the room with its only window overlooking the internal courtyard ( just for explanation it is not the courtyard of your hotel but of another one), in this case you will have to keep the awning down because your window faces dozens and dozens of other windows. There is just one elevator for 7 floors and dozens of rooms for each floor and if you decide to use the stairs you will need to switch staircase at the first floor because they are not connected. Do you want to know what is the funniest thing I have seen there? The receptionists that keep speak in French with you even if you don’t know it… I’m still trying to understand why. But our bad experience doesn’t end here. We were a big group, it happened the last day to return to the hotel late in the night so ONE room was the center of complains from neighbors about noise ( I want to remember that you can really hear everything from one room to the other ) so for this reason they decided, the morning after, to assault the girls (just 18 years old) of that room yelling threateningly at them, always in their French/English language ; for just that one room that was complained they didn’t want to give us back the deposit of all the group (54 people = 540€), we had to argue with them to have it back. At the end but not less important if you are thinking to take advantage of their luggage storage service just hope that there are not a lot of people that want it too because they are going to say no to you and they will not care about how you are going to do for the day with your luggage around… So, I really think that this is not what you want for your experience in France, in particular if it is you’re first time in the country and you need someone that help you when you need and not people that will just keep yelling at you in French and will not accommodate any kind of requests.

    Never again.

I stayed for 5 nights in this structure as I wanted to visit the cities around. Already from the welcome it leaves something to be desired, we did not even enter well and they asked me for a guarantee of 50 euros as non-smoking rooms despite the fact that 40 was written on all the notices and despite the fact that I had already paid for the entire stay a week before. Room 2x2 bathroom separated from the toilet even smaller and only two large towels excuse me gentlemen but we in Italy also dry your face I don't know how do you manage to have only 2 towels for the whole week? Sheets changed only after 3 nights and last day even until 10:40 am the room was still not set up. Not even a hairdryer to dry hats. At the breakfast 2 things and there were more people at the same time you could not find anything. In conclusion we will never go back bad and I recommend you keep away from similar structures as they only ruin your holidays.
