    Great find with issues that can be easily fixed..

    A fully functional apartment with air conditioning and a well‑equipped kitchen. The place was clean, and we received housekeeping twice during our week‑long stay.I’m giving a 3/5 rating mainly because the sofa really needs replacing — it was so uncomfortable that both my wife and I ended up with lower back pain after sitting on it for just a couple of hours. In addition, although there were TVs in both the living room and the bedroom, neither of them were smart TVs, so we weren’t able to watch Netflix, YouTube, or other streaming services. All TV stations were in French with the exception of three Italian TV stations, hence why having a smart TV is even more important. There were also no cushions provided for the sofa, which added to the discomfort.Apartment is just a 5 minute walk away from a couple of restaurants and groceries.I would stay again if the above issues are addressed.     Dirty shower, ill equipped cramped kitchen, lots of noise from the room above. The main issue was the fire alarm which went off twice in the night while we were asleep. When we tried to call the front desk we then realized the in room phone didn’t work. When we questioned the phone issue we were told “ they don’t all work”. The lighting on the driveway at night was very poor and the driveway was under construction so walking at night was hazardous Didi Espoir Ofi, Owner at Le Club Mougins, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to write the review.     Excellent base for family holiday

    Overall a very enjoyable family holiday and we would definitely return, after reading some reviews we were nervous about what to expect but overall everything was good, the apartments are very spacious and well equipped and have had some modernisation if you go with expectation of 3* not 4* you will not be disappointed, there were some improvement works to the grounds ongoing but this did not impact us, pool is small but ample and there were times we had it to ourselves. Reception staff were really helpful and friendly and invited to join a WhatsApp group for any questions/queries which they were very responsive on. Overall an excellent base for exploring the region with our hire car.     Nice hotel in a quaint town!

    My husband and I just spent 4 lovely days at the hotel. Keep in mind it is a 3 star hotel. Check in was easy and the staff were helpful. If you have issues with stairs, notify them in advance. The two flights up to our room was worth the view. Our one bedroom suite was spacious and clean. The A/C was not as strong as we are used to in the US but it was okay. The pool was refreshing but could use some freshening up. Perhaps some flowers that are not dead and prettier furniture and small tables would help. It could be done without too much effort. Parking was fine and hopefully the construction will be finished soon. We recommend a car. Walking to the darling old village is 20 minutes with limited sidewalks and is very hilly. It would be dangerous at night. The hotel has laundry on site, although the dryer was slow to dry. Overall, we would recommend this hotel and the town of Mougins to you. It was a good base for our day trips to Provence, Nice and Antibes. The negative reviews of this hotel were not our experience.

    Disappointing Stay at Le Club Mougins

    Our family recently stayed at Le Club Mougins, drawn by its convenient location and promising amenities, but our experience was marred by several issues that left us frustrated and unlikely to return.The apartment itself was a highlight—spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a functional kitchen, making it comfortable for our family. The parking was also convenient. However, these positives were overshadowed by significant downsides.The pool was average and the mini-golf was practically non-existent, in such poor condition that it was unusable. The staff were okay but didn’t seem overly invested in addressing our concerns.The biggest issues were the ongoing construction work and the malfunctioning air conditioning. Construction right in front of our apartment started early in the morning, creating disruptive noise that made relaxation impossible. Worse, the air conditioning in our apartment wasn’t working during a week of soaring temperatures, leaving us hot and uncomfortable. We complained multiple times, and while we were told it would be fixed no repairs were made. The alternative apartment offered was dark, gloomy, and split over two levels, which we found unsuitable for our family, so we stayed put.To compensate, they offered a free breakfast, but we were never notified about it. At checkout, they claimed they had called us to collect it, but no such call was received. To add to the disappointment, no discount or compensation was offered for the inconvenience, leaving us feeling like the management didn’t care about our experience.While Le Club Mougins has a practical location, the noise, broken air conditioning, and poor customer service made this a disappointing stay.
