This venerable hotel lies some 200 m from the sandy beaches of Juan-les-Pins. The Cannes "Palais de Festival" is around 7 km from the hotel. The city centre with the casino, the Palais de Congrès, and the shopping area are some 2 minutes away on foot. Guests can enjoy the hotel’s quiet location and the fine weather of the French Riviera.     A splendid jewel in the crown of Juan Les Pins

    The Hotel Le Pre Catelan is a splendid jewel in the crown of Juan Les Pins! Monsieur Bruno gave us excellent advice on taxi transfer from Nice Côte d'Azur International airport before arrival and we were kindly given a very comfortable deluxe room with a large terrace on the first floor which was perfect for my wife who has a mobility issue. Everything about the hotel is first class and the excellent staff couldn't do enough to ensure we were well looked after throughout our stay. The breakfasts are marvellous and the omelettes are highly recommended! The hotel's location is perfect being close to the centre of Juan Les Pins and train station. The peaceful swimming pool with lots of shade is first class and better than those at nearby hotels because of this. We will certainly be returning to the Hotel Le Pre Catelan in due course!

    A wonderful welcome from these very kind staff.The hotel is situated in a quiet position , but close to restaurants and the beach .The pool was a excellent place to cool dawn.The hotel staff were kind and relaxed .They managed to check me into the room slightly earlier, as I had arrived at their hotel after a disastrous experience at another grubby hotel . Their kindness to me at a very stressful time was greatly appreciate .     Cold comfort hotel

    The hotel is interestingly decorated and clean but the service is very offhand and the breakfasts rather meagre - on our last day the bowl of fruit salad failed to appear. The proprietor's manner was very cool and on the rare occasions we encountered other staff our presence was ignored. The plumbing is very noisy and the walls are thin, so other guests returning in the middle of the night were hard to ignore.

    We’ve just spent five nights here and enjoyed every bit of this lovely quirky hotel. Staff very friendly not intrusive. Had the pool to ourselves every afternoon and breakfast was very very generous so much we opted for one between us after the first morning. Hotel decor very comfortable. Very close to the beach and the town but also very quiet. We will be coming back.     A waste of you money

    This hotel has a very good location but that is it. Very small rooms. If you are 3 in your room you don’t have any where to put your luggage or to walk on the floor. Don’t open the windows because then you will get mosquitoes and wasps in your room. Don’t believe that you will get any cleaning of you room. They say that they will but they don’t. Nice garden to sit and eat breakfast in but the breakfast is not worth the money. Mostly only a lot of bread. You have to carry all you luggage up the stairs by your self. No elevator and there is no staff there to help you. The room smells quite Smokey even though it says that the rooms are no smoking area. No and then the room and the stairs smelled like rotten eggs. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We're sorry we could not give you satisfaction. For most of the points you raise, a simple visit to our reception could have solved most things. For luggage you have a large wardrobe and a luggage rack. Our maid really forgot to make your room and because you saw our receptionist Christine who offered to send you our cleaning team directly, you finally asked for clean towels. Our French breakfast that you had the three days of your stay includes two cheeses (Camembert and Saint-Moret), bread, pastries, four quarters, wholemeal bread, tea, coffee or chocolate, butter and jam and honey, a piece of fruit, a fresh fruit salad for 12 € per person). You can order more bread and whatever you want at the reception. It is possible that with the heat wave and despite the precautions we take to ensure that unwanted odors are present, we do everything to ensure that this is not the case (ventilation of premises, disinfection of evacuations of the hotel ...) Our pool of 11 times 5 meters is made to accommodate the number of people staying at the hotel and we only respect the rules attached to the pandemic to ensure health safety.
