    we booked this hotel based on the photos and booked through booking.com, we had booked for 3 nights and had 3 rooms, my wife and myself one and our children in the other rooms.it was nothing like the photos, the pool was awful and needed a full refurbishment, it was unappealing and looked like the paint was peeling, there was a busy mainline train line just between the hotel and beach, and a train came past about every 15 mins, the pool furniture was basic and the whole outside felt cheap, to get to the beach you had to walk over a railway bridge and cross a busy road, not mentioned on website.the rooms were very basic, and very drab, the view was nice when a train wasn't passing which was very regular, our ac didn't work, our sons room bath and sink wouldn't drain, and in my daughters room she found a bug in the bed and hotel phone didn't work and she had no extractor fan so her bathroom steamed up.the hotel had no one at reception at night and anyone could just come in, and access the rooms as the lift worked without needing a room card.one night was enough so we move hotels after one night and are now trying to get a refund based on our experience, there was no manage available to talk to, and other guests we spoke to were also unhappy. In fact, they were taken during a professional photo shoot in 2023 and accurately represent our rooms and common areas.Regarding the pool, we do acknowledge that some paint defects have been observed recently. Aware that this is purely a visual issue, we chose to keep the pool open to avoid depriving our guests of this facility, while planning to carry out the necessary maintenance work during the winter. Please note that the pool is clean and maintained several times a day.The hotel is indeed located near a railway line, which is clearly visible on maps and booking platforms. However, we can assure you that trains do not pass every 15 minutes.We also offer quick access to the beach (less than 5 minutes on foot) via a footbridge, but there is an alternative route around the property that does not require using the bridge.Regarding the technical issues (air conditioning, drainage), we are truly sorry if you experienced any inconvenience. Our onsite technician is available to intervene quickly whenever a problem is reported.Our bathrooms do not have extractor fans, which is neither standard nor mandatory. All room features are clearly listed on our website and the booking platforms.As for the reported presence of bed bugs, this seems very unlikely. Our property undergoes regular pest control inspections, and our housekeeping team follows strict cleaning protocols to ensure the rooms are spotless. Nevertheless, we will of course carry out a precautionary inspection of the room in question.The safety of our guests is a top priority. A night receptionist is indeed present on-site, although they may occasionally be in the back office. The hotel is equipped with a video surveillance system, and room access is secured by a unique key card. Like many hotels, the elevator does not require a key card to access floors, but this does not compromise the security of the rooms.Lastly, if no manager was available at the time, we always encourage our guests to leave their request by email.     Nice hotel. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Always smiling and happy to assist in any way. Rooms were cleaned to a good standard daily. Our only negative was the price of drinks. It cost us €34 for 2 strawberry daiquiris in plastic cups to have at the pool. Safe to say we only had one. Otherwise no complaints and hotel within walking distance to the centre where shops restaurants and bars are. Would probably stay again.     Perfect summer vacation on french riviera 😊

    Great choice for hotel in Cannes on the beach and value for the money. Perfect location on the clean public beach, beautiful views on beautiful gardens around and the sea. Nice big room with very comfortable bed for great sleep and big bathroom. The best are rooms on the higher floor with the sea view:-) very good breakfast in fancy restaurant with wonderful view on the pool and garden.     The view from the sea view room is spectacular,the hotal is spotless and the staff are extremely friendly.We had dinner and lunch in the hotel on some days and the food was excellent.The pool area is so relaxing and the pool bar has everything you need.We used the bus service which is right outside the hotel to get into Cannes city centre, it takes 5 minutes and the buses come every few minutes, it’s an excellent service.This hotel ticked all the boxes for us, close to the city and beach,we will definitely be back.Thanks again for making our holiday special.     Needs a refurb!

    Staff are lovely can’t fault them. The little pool bar station is a nice touch.Outside:The outside pool needs an urgent refurb as the paint on the floor is peeling off (this leads to the pieces of paint floating around which doesn’t look or feel nice) . The sun beds are plastic which isn’t very luxury with no cushioning.Inside: The reception is very nice with a lovely lounge area, which has a large tv to watch the latest news and sports. The breakfast/restaurant is very modern which is nice, the breakfast buffet has a large variety.Room:The rooms are very traditional and need a big refurb. The plug points are not enough for a family of 4. You can start to see the lines of the carpets peeling off. Very basic bathroom. The balconies need a lick of paint and the wooden floor boards are broken.Facilities:The wifi is very poor and works well downstairs.When you are upstairs the wifi is extremely slow.Unfortunately due to these reasons, this will be my last time here until it gets refurbished.
