  Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We sadly had an unpleasant time at Pierre & Vacances’s Verrerie property and asked to be moved - and it was a world apart.We were so pleased we moved and wished we had just booked with you directly in the first place.   Still waiting for refund after a year - horrible service and communication

  Last year, I booked two rooms with Pierre & Vacances and had to pay a €400 deposit (€200 per room). Due to a payment issue at check-in, I was promised that the deposit would be refunded - but a year later, I am still waiting.Despite sending over 40+ emails, countless calls, and repeated follow-ups, they have simply ignored everything. I am not the only one: multiple other guests I spoke to are facing the exact same issue. It seems like their strategy is just to ignore all refund requests and hope that your travel insurance will cover the loss instead.In November, after months of silence, a colleague named Romain finally contacted me, confirming that the €400 would be refunded that week. However, even after that clear promise, I have still received nothing, and again, no replies to my follow-ups since.The problem is not just the missing money, it’s the complete lack of communication and responsibility. If something goes wrong, you are on your own.Don’t book your vacation here unless you’re willing to risk losing your deposit.Awful company and absolutely horrible communication.   And we are still waiting for our deposit since July, having called and emailed multiple times. The contact has been terrible, and doing this to many tenants is quite profitable for them. I understand that tenants eventually think, "Forget it, too much hassle." In our case, €400 is not something I’ll let go of, and I will keep pursuing it. So don’t book a vacation here!!!   Good location but facility not in best maintained condition. For example:1. Smoke detector was removed and never replaced2. Wifi only worked in bedroom for first three days; when technician finally came , it worked after a simple router reset (why not on day one???)3. Bathroom odor throughout the stay was horrible - sewage smell.4. Front desk staff was less than involved in the problem(s); except for one person (do not recall her name, but i think she was manager) who seemed to be more customer focused. 5. The designated five person studio had exactly one electrical outlet for e.g. a single charger. When we asked for an extension cord with multiple outlets, we were told this was forbidden.6. First two person studio was less than desirable (200 series) as it did not even have a permanent bed (foldout couch); we asked for a different studio with more light... we received the five person studio on 1st floor next to the canal which was a good location; but with a significant surcharge. Overall, we had a pleasant stay after relocating to the larger studio; but had to keep the bathroom door closed due to the unpleasant sewage smell.Pool is nice, but restaurant was closed due to covid-19.

  Great stay, lovely pool and good location

  We stayed 8 days beginning of August with our children. The pool is very large, which is great to have in times of COVID. We had a 2 bedroom cottage looking over the river. The walk to the Robinson beach is easy 10 minutes and it is large enough for people not to feel crowded. The staff at the Bar were always friendly to us and our girls. There is a fantastic bar just opposite the Residence, with live music and great food.
