  Great little hotel; highly recommended.

  This is a very nice hotel. The very pretty young woman on reception is very helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble, and always with a lovely smile. The room was small (and a little warm) but we were in Carcassonne for Christmas, the market, La Cite, La Barbacane, Narbonne & Les Grands Buffets, so it was to sleep in. Breakfast was fantastic. Cheeses, ham, yoghurts, the bread was superb. My wife is coeliac and she had a good choice of bread and buns. We paid for secure parking. A little kettle would have been nice, but we find that increasingly hotels don't provide them, so OK.

  Nice hotel in great location but breakfast not worth €15

  Hotel was really nice , clean and friendly staff. We walked there in 25 mins from train station and a taxi to airport was €20.Location is ideal for exploring the old and the new town. The couple of minor downsides were the lack of tea/coffee facilities in the room and the ridiculous cost of the breakfast. We only had it one day and although it was all nice produce just underwhelming for the price.

  We rented two rooms at Hôtel L'Octroi, and everyone enjoyed the stay. Small hotels often provide the best experiences, and this one was no exception.From the friendly staff to the nicely set breakfast and vibrant pop art decor, there was nothing to complain about. The location is also very convenient, with parking just a few meters from the entrance.On our checkout day, while waiting for our friends to return from Avignon, the attendant graciously invited us to relax in the lobby. When we offered to pay for our coffee, she surprised us by saying it was on the house!I’ll definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Carcassonne.

  A perfect little hotel, situated in a perfect location a few minutes walk to the medieval cite up a small hill.Hotel is very clean, rooms small but clean and comfortable.The staff are all very pleasant and extremely helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

  Awarded 4 stars simply for the fabulous location, just a short two minute walk up the hill to the most amazing castle, worthy of a Disney set.The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, if not a little over priced. (€15 for a continental breakfast). The small heated outdoor pool, was a nice touch after a day of sightseeing. The rooms were clean with quirky decor, although they were vety small. My room had no wardrobe and no real space to add one. The only storage was a drawer in the bathroom. The bath was tiny, with a temperamental overhead shower. There were also areas in the bedroom where wallpaper was peeling. Not the best hotel that I've ever stayed in but if you're looking for location than this hotel is the one!
