    Very happy

The hotel was picked due to its location to break our journey from northern France to Southern France. Very convenient to the motorway, whilst being away from it. Nice room with plenty of room and a balcony (albeit too cold in January to use). Nice looking garden and outside dining facility, but again, too cold in January to use. Evening meal in the hotel was superb. Most tellingly the restaurant was packed, mainly with local people dining out in the middle of January!

Comfortable, clean stay on the road

    rating28 May 2025

We stopped here for one-night stop on our way to Dordogne. After a very long day's drive, it was welcoming, comfortable and quiet. The rooms were small but clean and fine for an overnight stay. The on-site restuarant was good and the staff were helpful. Virginia BARIVIERA, Owner at Logis Hotel le Prieure, responded to this review Thank you for your wonderful, heart-warming comment. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. We look forward to seeing you again. Prieuré's Team

Excellent location. Staff friendly and efficient. Rooms very reasonable. I would say that the level of the dinner menu has fallen from previous visits.

Wonderful sweet hotel nesting in the French countryside. We stayed whilst on our journey home.We had a warm welcome and settled into our room. We had booked a table in the restaurant and enjoyed a fabulously beautiful meal.A good nights sleep and a hearty breakfast before carrying on our way.Highly recommended

Excellent hotel. Great food and friendly atmosphere. Ideal stopover on the road south. Room was very comfortable with good Wi-Fi and facilities. Very quiet location just a short distance from the centre of the town.
