  Hotel in poor condition. Not worth the 5 star rating. No English speaker at arrival. Room ok but very strange and not confortable flip flops that you have to wair when going to the spa. No more warm water in the shower of the spa before closure time, only cold tea available in the spa. Restaurant very poor : emilsified meat burger (for 24€) and we asked for mayonnaise with the cold fries but this request was forgotten.

  Went for a massage in the spa, not a hotel guessed and feel like it's overpriced. The staff were lovley but the facilities are a little tired and not big enough for the number of people. Multiple toilets were out of order including the only ladies on the floor of the pools and saunas so you had to go down stairs back to the changing rooms to find a loo. Serveral toilets in the changing rooms were alos out of order. No shampoo or conditioner provided in the showers and no where to get additional towels if you needed them. The massage itself was lovley but for €135, not value for money overall.   I arrived at Celestines Spa expecting calm, luxury, and perhaps a hint of indulgence. What I got instead felt like a nostalgic tour of a slightly underfunded school gymnasium. The changing rooms set the tone immediately—functional, yes, but about as atmospheric as a Tuesday afternoon PE class. The robes and towels looked like they’d seen more life than most guests, and not in a charming, vintage way.Undeterred, I made my way upstairs to the pool area. Calling it a “spa pool” feels generous. It was less serene retreat and more crowded watering hole—think National Geographic, but without the elegance. Packed, noisy, and with loungers so sparsely distributed you’d think they were rationed, relaxation quickly became a competitive sport.By the time it was “time to go up” for the massage, expectations had already packed their bags and left. Still, I held onto a faint hope—after all, this was meant to be a deep tissue massage.What followed can only be described as a light pat-down punctuated by occasional, almost symbolic chopping motions. “Deep” was nowhere to be found, unless we’re talking about the depth of my regret. It felt less like therapy and more like someone politely acknowledging the existence of muscles without wanting to engage with them.All in all, a spa experience that managed to be memorable—but unfortunately for all the wrong reasons.   Conveniently located for Thermal Water Treatment in Vichy

  My wife and me were staying at Celestine SPA Hotel in Vichy for the second time. This time we booked initially 10 days, but later have extended our stay for another few days.We were feeling like home at this place, hotel staff was waiting for us and everything met our expectations. We use to stay in Celestine SPA hotel for thermal water treatment. The hotel staff in advance kindly booked us an appointment with thermal doctor to get a thermal water advise and prescription as well as issued water source access cards.
