    a lovely hotel in a fantastic position

    Firstly, the location is perfect: just a 10 minute walk into Calvi - but feeling quiet and tucked away from bustle of the town. There are plenty of nice restaurants in the little town - but in the other direction, lovely beach bars that serve great food in the evening. We had a triple comfort room, which was really spacious with a great view of the sea. I have to make special mention of the cleaning staff. Every day, our room was left spotless! Some reviews have mentioned noise from the beach bars - but later in the season this didn't seem to be a problem. One night, there was a party on the beach, but we had decent ear plugs and weren't disturbed. Lots of people have mentioned the lovely lady on reception - and they're right! Incredibly polite and helpful.It's true, the breakfast isn't great. Lots of sweet stuff - and very little fresh fruit or "healthy" stuff. But don't let that put you off. Overall, this is a really lovely hotel in a fantastic position.

    In it's price range this was my favourite hotel from my week travelling around Corsica. Nice, comfortable, large room, free parking, with fridge, kettle etc and a nice balcony. Right on the beach and in a good location. Maybe about 1.5km, 20 minute walk up to the citadel. Loved it.

    We stayed at The Calvi Hotel for 5 nights to explore the area and hike along the stunning coastline. & then 2 nights at the end of our trip. The location nestled behind the pine trees, with a few yards leading to the beach was lovely. The boardwalk into town or along the beach was very pleasant. Staff were extremely helpful, the place was very well cared for & the beds were very comfortable. We requested a sea view and a Superior room for extra space. They were very spacious. (I’d probably try to avoid the rooms nearer the road as they would be a bit noisy). My only gripe was the breakfast choice, a fresh fruit salad would have been welcome. However, there were eggs to boil, a range of cheese & meat and pastries so no need to go hungry. I would recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

    Very nice hotel close to the beach

    Calvi hotel is located close to the beach than you can reach it by a very nice path (distance 50 metres ); you can otherwise reach the ‘ calvi cittadelle’ in 10 minute on walk. The room are big and with modern furniture. We did not have breakfast in the hotel. I suggest this hotel!

    First stop on a Corsican trek, Mare Monte. Good location just behind beach with very comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Top tip, when walking into the old town, go along the beachSadly there for only one night
