  Very lovely view from the pool and windows of TV area in restaurant. Interesting they'd rather put a TV there instead of tables to let diners enjoy that view.If not the view, many other things disappoint. First, location. Although only 17 minute-walk to town according to Google, but we found the walk potentially dangerous as there are no side walks and the road on the slope is winding enough to obscure view for drivers. Besides, it is quite a steep incline up to the hotel (thus the nice view). There are however ample reasonably-priced parking lots in town.About the room, it is quite dated and small. After putting the suitcase on the rack, one has to squeeze through to get to the other side of bed. Mini-bar that bears a sign of not allowing guests to store own food seems petty. The shower is the worst, it keeps leaking out to the floor. Plus, the hairdryer didn't work, and when I found out, the reception closing hour at night had already passed.

  We love the Funtana Marina.

  We have just returned from another 2 week stay at the Funtana Marina. This is a lovely quiet family hotel where you always receive a warm welcome.The rooms are spacious clean and well equipped all with a fantastic view down to the town and sea! I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday in lovely surroundings. My family will definitely be returning soon!

  Hotel Funtana Marina from May 15 to 17 , 2017 ( 2nights, Room No. 75 )Once you arrive with your car in downtown L’ILE Rousse, drive toward the Post Office and from there , you have excellent signage to direct you to “ Hotel Funtana Marina “…there is plenty of parking, and a willing young man to assist you with your bags.We received a friendly WELCOME and were accommodated in Room No. 75, a very clean room , a little small , with a balcony and a great view out to the Mediterranean Sea., including the town & port.The room has a Queen size bed with clean Bed linen and you will sleep well here. The room is furnished with contemporary furniture, in-room safe, enough closet space, flat TV screen by Continental Edison , a desk, a refrigerator. In the Bathroom you have clean bath-towels, sink, shower , WC, Hairdryer . The Hotel also has a very nice swimming pool. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.Breakfast is plentiful and wholesome. You have a selection of Cereals, Coffee, Tea, cold cuts, selection of various cheese, three different juices, two cakes, yogurt, fresh fruit and different breads.We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Funtana and recommend highly staying here.

  Pleasant hotel overlooking town

  Nice pool in front of hotel with good view over the small town of l'Ile Rousse. Small but comfortable bedroom. Helpful staff. Breakfast disappointing and not worth the €12 charge - we drove into town for fresh croissants and coffee in a bakery before setting out for the day.

  Good hotel and friendly staff. And ocean view from the hotel is really nice and this hotels parking area is well organised. Only things where I see room for improvement is English level. Overall I can honestly recommend!
