  Beautiful and comfy place with a great service!

  It’s a beautiful hotel with an astonishing terrace and service that never takes no for an answer. We travel a lot and very rarely do we come across places like this. It’s an example of how important it is to go an extra mile in a service-based business, where there was no detail too small, no request too large—everything was accommodated, even the breakfast menu at 12 o’clock since we overslept (apologies for that).I highly recommend this place if you enjoy life and dolce vita; this is an amazing place to spend time in Porto Vecchio.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​We are off to Hotel Palombaggia good luck to them after this spoiled experience hehe La Direction, Marketing at Casa Santini x Roc Seven, responded to this review Thanks you so much for your feed back!   Great views and lovely staff

  Great boutique style hotel with beautiful grounds and really nice staff who were helpful at all times and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Thank you, team Casa Santini! 🙏The rooms are a little bit on the smaller side but really well organised and the decor is beautiful.The food is delicious both at breakfast and for dinner. We shared a Tomahawk steak one day for dinner it was perfectly prepared. So delicious!It is in short walking dictance to both the marina and the old city center. But at the same time it’s really calm and relaxing.Overall we had a great time and will try to come back for another holiday!   This was a difficult review to write, because this hotel has so much potential to be a lovely boutique hotel, unfortunately the way its currently managed is keeping it from reaching its full potential. We booked our room directly with the hotel, months in advance, paid extra for a comfort with terrace and sea view and were really excited for our stay, upon arrival we we asked specifically for a quiet room, we were promised a quiet room but it would be ready in 1 hour, 90 min later our room was ready, were surprised to see that our room is in the hallway right next to reception and no sea view, a very tight room with a very poor lay out, infested with ants and worst of all extremely noisy, we can hear the people speaking at reception, foot steps, glasses clinging at the bar, nightmare. We ask reception staff for a solution, they offer non, we speak to the manager, he offers non and refuses to even refund us our money so we can go to another hotel. Finally the owner of the hotel gets there and he is the first person who seems to have been hospitality trained, offers us a temporary solution of a stay in a quieter room (but just for one night because other guests were arriving) and ultimately we had to leave the hotel and were refunded 4 out of 5 nights and were charged for the drinks we ordered while waiting for our room, which you would think after this experience we would’ve at least been offered as complimentary, I would even think that we would be refunded the night we stayed as a gesture, but no this hotel has very little hospitality experience, some of the staff are nice but untrained to deal with unsatisfied guests, manager has no idea how to speak to guests which is why the owner needs to be involved in guest relations.Bottom line: this is a solid 3 star hotel with potential to become a 4 star hotel once they get a new manager, train their staff on how to deal with guests, and improve the quality of the ground floor rooms in the main building. We will not be coming back and would advise others to avoid this hotel. Notre hôtel étant complet, il nous était malheureusement impossible de vous proposer une nouvelle chambre pour la totalité de votre séjour. Conscient de l'importance de vous proposer une solution, notre Responsable s'est rapproché de la Direction afin d'examiner toutes les alternatives possibles. Sachez par ailleurs que le tarif auquel vous avez payé votre séjour implique une contrepartie que vous avez accepté au moment de valider votre réservation : réservation remboursable et modifiable jusqu'à 14 jours avant votre arrivée.Concernant les boissons que nous vous avons facturées à votre départ, nous tenons à préciser que nous vous avons offert -à vous ainsi qu'à vos amis- un digestif lors de votre dîner dans notre restaurant le jour de votre arrivée. Nous espérons que vous nous donnerez l’occasion de vous accueillir dans un futur proche et ainsi vous faire découvrir notre hôtel et ses services.

  Fantastic Stay at This Small Chic Waterfront Hotel

  This small boutique hotel is lovely.The hotel is on the water with umbrella pines above a lawn area with sofas, Adirondack chairs and chaise lounges to relax and enjoy the view.There is a small beach area with lounge chairs and umbrellas. There is a large roped in swimming area.Our room had a large balcony with seating area and double lounge. Roomy with a king size bed and pullout sofa bed. There were 2 closets with a large bathroom with a shower, bath tub and double sinks. There was also a desk area , coffee maker and small fridge.The breakfasts are wonderful with several choices in addition to a tray of fruits, meats and cheeses, assorted breads and drinks.The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner inside or out on the terrace and lawn area.The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with making dinner reservations.There is a shuttle across the street that will take you up to the old town with lots of restaurants and boutiques.Loved this hotel with it’s wonderful setting, engaging staff and relaxed chic atmosphere.   Stylish small hotel with an enthusiastic staff and a great location.Good fittings and finishes. The young team are keen to please. Its a restful place. The food is contemporary and good, even if the menu is unchanging.The setting on the water and near to the marina and beside a bus stop to the upper town is excellent. Casa Santini is a good place to relax.
