  HUGE UNTAPPED POTENTIALI deal with hospitality and therefore I have a very keen eye: unfortunately I have to report many things that are wrong with this hotel.The location is such that it could be a 5 star luxury. Unfortunately, too many things leave something to be desired. First of all the entrance: nice and with many plants but there are stairs, there is a ramp but it is covered by vegetation and not marked, by the time we arrived carrying all the bags and suitcases from the parking lot up, it was too late. From the elegant and well-appointed reception, other really ugly stairs that go against the hotel's decor, to reach the rooms, even the corridors are shabby furnished. The room is nicely decorated and , the bed is large. The small bathroom, without bidet (lack for us Italians unsurpassed) and the toilet is separated in a tiny space, you barely stand. Particular, not insignificant, the walls separating the bathroom from the room are made of glass and wood and there is no soundproofing : whatever happens in the bathroom is as if it happened next to the bed being this at a distance of 50 cm. Therefore either the partner has to go to the terrace or he shares in full the experience of the toilet ... embarrassing is to say the least. There is no toothbrush glass and we had to use one for water, so for the whole stay we drank from the same glass since the cleaning person, since we had used it in the bathroom, did not add another. The kleenex box is uncovered, something you don't even find in motels. The room's token basket is small and limp, so it all sits folded sunse itself and the thrown things fall to the ground. Moreover, in the shower, the holes are evident on the cladding, plugged with the putty of the arm that previously held the glass: it takes little to restore the gray color of the cladding, and instead the white patch out of tune to the watchful eye.The reception lady, very kindly, reserved us a room on the ground floor with garden since we have a small dog. Perfect! Only the weed is fake! And under the sun rises an unbearable smell of plastic. But how is that possible? A big lawn all plastic, in Corsica where the vegetation is lush! That's crazy.The much-hyped beach is nothing but a concrete esplanade on the rocks, with meager plastic sunbeds and three umbrellas. The descent to the sea is very difficult since there is no ladder, the ascent even worse.Straw umbrellas are old and poor.A hotel like this should have at least one pool-like ladder to get off and on. Towels for sunbeds should also be on hand, not at reception. An outdoor shower on the platform would be useful, simple but functional outdoors.Behind the sunbeds is an area with uncultivated and dirty construction sand, the peeling garden wall. Icing on the cake, a drain that throws into the sea that is not given to understand what water it is ... (hoping not the clear waters of the hotel ).After the plastic lawn a solarium-type area also this with construction sand, coarse, ugly, uncultivated. The plastic sheet underneath comes out in several places.All exterior furnishings are quite poor not classy. The pool is tiny, though scenic.Two hundred meters from the hotel there is a beautiful beach with crystal clear water but no one told us and from the road you can not see. Unfortunately we only discovered it on the last day, maybe at the reception they could commit to suggesting where to go.The wifi works terrible everywhere, indeed, it does not work at all.In the evening, when you return after dinner, the hotel parking lot is full of cars of the restaurant goers and we had to leave the car on the street.We cast a pitiful veil over the restaurant: it has little choice, everything is poorly presented, insufficient and incapable staff and is very expensive. They treated us so badly that to apologize they did not charge us for dinner (however I had sent a dish back to the kitchen because it was inedible)In short, it should be taken over by capable people to make it a truly beautiful and luxurious hotel.I forgot, room prices are very high, 450 euros per night on average.   Beautiful hotel with a lovely restaurant

  An authentic, properly made French soupe de poisson has to be one of my culinary winter favourites. For some reason it's hard to find the 'right' version that offers the traditional rich flavour, even in France. To my surprise, the restaurant at the hotel served one of the most delicious soupes I've ever had. Sadly, not the same good luck in the other restaurants on the island, so more than once decided to keep the dinner light to enjoy a late soupe treat upon returning to the hotel. And adding to this rare find are the wonderful views, facilities and the efficient service you get at the hotel, which is a great choice for that corner of the island.

  highly recommended, best experience, service, staffs 10/10. very sweet and welcoming. they took care of us. it was my mom's birthday and the team prepared s small cake as a surprise for her. it was such a sweet gesture which she appreciated a lot. every single staffs were so sweet and helpful towards us. food was excellent and great choice.would definitely go there again! wonderful experience!!!Thank you so much Dolce Vita team.

  We enjoyed one of the finest sea food meals ever set against the beauty of the coast and bay. The lobster was grilled to perfection and the initial preparation done expertly by the waiter. Our party enjoyed lobster,crab,fillet steak and lamb cutlets. Each dish was cooked to perfection. The service was prompt yet relaxed. Fine dining in a friendly atmosphere set in the perfect location. Dreamy. Such a meal does not come cheaply but two of us ate the lobster, and yes it was well worth it. As for the hotel, well the rooms are more like small apartments and magnificently appointed. Sea views comfort and class. It is all in the name. Dolce Vita.   We stayed in the 3 bed apartment which had oodles of space and a great terrace area overlooking the sea. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant as had self catering facilities in the apartment (which were limited but ok). The staff were extremely welcoming. The hotel is in a fantastic location a short drive from the town and overlooking the sea. Very beautiful. It was not very busy and we could always get a space by the pool. Definitely recommend this hotel.
