    The hotel is basic but very pleasant and clean. The staff are all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. There is a small bar where soft drinks and beers can be purchased. It is perfectly located, with a 5 minute walk to the nearest restaurants and the beach, less than 10 minute walk to the nearest supermarket and less than 15 minute walk to the harbour with plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, ice creams, etc. There is no swimming pool, lift or fridge in the room but this is reflected in the price.

    We stayed in Calvi for 1 night as part or our Corsican discovery trip. The choice was because it had off street parking and was close to town (10mn on foot) and the beach (5mn down a few blocks). There were some very bad reviews but they were very old. We were very pleasantly surprised. It's a charming old building clearly recently renovated. It has kept all the old charm (great staircase, high ceilings, large rooms with balcony) with modern comfort (nice modern bathroom, air-con). The staff could not be faulted, in fact it was the only hotel we stayed at where someone offered to carry our cases and it was only 1 floor. It's got lots of cafes just round the corner if you don't feel like walking to town, which itself is not far anyway if you cut through the beach and port. We wished we had stayed longer.

    Very close to the beach, but not really within walking distance to most of the good restaurants at the port and main part of town. A small parking lot is provided, but best get there early!Service extremely friendly.Quite a grand staircase up to our room (2 floors - no elevator). The room was quite spacious, as was the bathroom, and very clean. While there was a balcony with a sliding door (and stunning views of the mountains as the sun set!), there was no airconditioning – we sure felt its absence on a hot night. On the other hand, there were plenty of USB outlets to charge multiple devices.

    We stayed here for two nights. The stylish wooden stair-case is very impressive when you arrive. We were pleasantly surprised by the recently renovated modern room with its own balcony. Everything was very clean, and the staff was always very friendly. Breakfast is simple but good.
