    Mostly good, so let's expedite the bad: the photos aren't really telling the truth - but goes both ways. Room (VA6) more cozy than pics, pool smaller, but not bad. Slightly underkept/underpimped premises, but nothing serious. Beach underwhelming. On the good side, very nice reception staff, good room, good playground and refreshing, practical pool. Would visit again if in area.

    We struck unseasonably cold weather while staying here for a 5 day break in Corsica, so we didn't get to make the most of the village and facilities on offer. But in my opinion, everything is here or nearby and it's a superb place to stay. The pool looks fab with plenty of loungers around it and the beach is right in front of the on-site restaurant with thatched umbrellas and seating areas. It all looks very tropical and inviting (when the sun it out!). We didn't eat in the restaurant but they had good reviews and the prices were very reasonable. A cool beverage at the end of the day overlooking the beach would be extremely relaxing here! Laundry facilities (wash and dry approx 10euros) are available. Plenty of space for carparking and safe. Our apartment was perfect for a couple - comfy bed, hot shower, plenty of TV channels to choose from (not that you would need that in the Summer!). Kitchen is basic with microwave and two elements. No toaster, griller or oven facilities FYI. The wifi was patchy and almost non-existent with the doors and windows closed. But like I said, it was cold while we were there so on a sunny warm day/evening with doors and windows open the wifi connection would be fine. Location was great for us - quiet and away from the hustle and bustle, but a SPAR supermarket and other facilities 5mins away. Bonifacio is 2hrs 15mins by car and a nice drive down the coast. Some great spots nearby - a 90min one way reasonably challenging hike up into the hills to see an abandoned village, waterfalls and the Henri Toivonen memorial was a 60min drive (on some very wiggly waggly roads) for retro rally enthusiasts. Finally, our host was excellent. He supplied us with a radiator heater since it was cold and told us where to find shops, what to do in Bonifacio, where to go for the walks and drives. He was really fantastic and spoke excellent English so communication was easy. Would definitely stay here again.

    Dear Mr. Cardi,After having spent a week at your premises, and further to your reply on the reviews my co-travellers wrote, I can only say the thing that shocked me most is not the fact the La Vallicella experience didn't live up to the promise, but the COMPLETE LACK OF EMPATHY we experienced in our dialogue with you and your staff. Even online, your response says it all.When working in the hospitality industry, dealing with disappointed customers starts with showing understanding. And hopefully after that, an attitude that aims to counter the disappointment so that the customer experience levels out in the end. After all, you run a holiday resort. I presume you want to offer people a pleasant time (and value) for their money... It's not worth it describing the banlieu-style appartments once more (+50 other reviews have done so correctly already), I can only conclude you don't understand it's a people's business just as much as it's a brick & mortar business. And clearly, you master neither one of them.My advise to you: structurally run surveys among your guests. And act upon their feedback. Rather than arguing (also online) to counter what they say they experience(d). We're human, we have feelings, and if we share them, use them to your advantage (if you're smart).My advise to future guests: reconsider La Vallicella and spend your money elsewhere.SincerelyB

    We stayed here for five days. Very nice and helpful stuff and fabulous places with the pool straight on the seaside. We had very nice, restful and happy five days here in La Vallicella, Corsica. I highly recommend this place, especially for families.

    I must say, the location of the apartments is phenomenal. We booked one with sea view and we were surprised with it. Inside very modern with beautiful shower and huge balcony. Kitchen is equipped with all you need to prepare food. We spent there 7 days and we were nicely welcomed. Swimming pool is available but only at certain times. Sun loungers at the beach were comfy and we didn't pay anything to use them (maybe because we visited after season) Shops are not far away but car is a must. Peace and quiet location which is a bonus if you are planning to relax, surrounded by palms and other trees Highly recommend
