    Lovely Place to visit

    rating11 Sept 2026

The hotel is set right on a busy main road that runs from the main tram / bus terminal so make sure you get a room at the back of the hotel to avoid the noise. If you are travelling by car, make sure you pre- book their car park as it has limited spaces under the hotel, the alternative is you end up in the multistorey car park at the station, its secure but a 15 minutes' walk back to the hotel. The hotel is well laid out; the pool and spa are lovely and a nice place to recharge. The room was small but had all that was needed for a one-night stay, it was clean and a decent TV, air con and a soft bed. Checking in was easy and the receptionist was very helpful of places to visit and see. Free Wi-Fi was good too.Quick drink at the bar was reasonably priced for a city centre hotel, breakfast offered many choices for everyone.Dijon centre was only a few minutes' walk away, and it had everything you could need to pass away a few hours, a tourist attraction of an owl that when rubbed your wish would come true? It had a mini-Notre dame, a centre staged area for live bands and of course as you would expect every shop sold Dijon mustard! The actual square has a merry go round and the bars here are very busy and over priced, but a great people watch place. Most of the decent restaurants served snacks but did not serve proper meals until 6.30pm.On the way back to the hotel, we ended up at Krousty Sabaidi, an amazing street food place, not overpriced and made fresh while you wait.Overall, a nice place to visit with plenty to do.

Great Location for Exploring the City

    rating24 Jul 2026

The hotel is quite old, and the rooms are rather small. However, its location is excellent, just a short walk from both the city centre and the train station, making it a very convenient base for exploring the area.Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of options.A major advantage for us, as we were travelling by motorcycle, was the secure underground parking. It gave us peace of mind and made our stay much more convenient.

My experience was a good one. Super location a three minute walk from the station and arpund five minutes to the centre of Dijon. The single room was much bigger than I had expected. The kettle most welcome as I could make a bedtime drink (brought my own instant drinking chocolate) and a coffee in the morning. Biggest plus for me was the spa and swimming pool. A negative of sorts was my room was untouched for the entire stay, but reception staff supplied replacement tea/coffee and milk so no big deal. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment, also my room was at the back so no noise issues.

    Stop in Dijon

    rating09 Oct 2024

Me and my girlfriend were on the way from Paris to Dijon on our Europe Vacation with the train. We booked this hotel due to it s proximity to the Train Station.it was perfectly located, very short walk with the luggage to the hotel and also not far to the centre of Dijon. We were very excited to stay in Dijon because we heard so many amazing thing s about this town.we arrived quite early around 10 am at the station. so we thought we can bring the luggage to the hotel and then explore the city until the room would be ready. We knew it s too early to check in but at least we can leave the luggage there. We went inside and there was a lady with black hair at the Front Desk. She didnt say hi or anything. She asked what we wanted, and we said we are checking in today. Before i could explain her about the luggage, she already cut us off and told us with a smirk...it s too early to check in!Thats when i looked at her and said.I know!!!!!I just wanted to ask if we can leave the luggage here at the meantime!!so she pointed to a cabinet where we can store it.Not the friendliest lady for sure.Later on when we checked in..around 2 pm a younger lady was there and she was very friendly! The room was very nice, small but homely with a nice view from the roof! The Hotel has a nice Indoor pool.and jacuzzi area, which is open till 10 pm!The front desk told us that it s open till 10 pm and there are flyers in the room, stating that the pool and sauna and jakuzzi is open till 10 pm...we enjoyed the day sightseeing and having good food all over Dijon.when we were walking home, it was around 9.20 pm, so we thought maybe we can use the jakuzzi still to relax and warm up, just for about 20 mins or so...we went down but it was closed!!My girlfriend called the front desk and asked why it was already closed. The Man at the front desk said he closed it because he is too busy!!!!!That was his excuse??he s too busy to keep it open!!??We were ofcourse very dissapointed about this.because the day was amazing and it would have been a perfect ending of the day relaxing in the jakuzzi.why do they promote the pool and jakuzzi area then?and write big that it s open till 10 pm?this was our first time in Dijon..we loved it for sure, and Hotel is perfect, but the attitude of those 2 staff members put a lil damper on it.
