We had an outstanding and luxuriating visit at The Hilton Evian-les-Bains. From the moment we arrived at the train station, we contacted the hotel for its shuttle service and were picked up by the most humble young adult who helped us get around the rest of our week as well. The pool is completely swimmable; no, it's not Olympic sized; nor is it advertised that way. It has direct access, a shortcut to the hammam with shower rooms and lockers quite nearby. The breakfast is outstanding with an abundance of selection for everyone. I saw one gentleman very slim in nature with at least three plates of food. My husband and I had at least six gourmet coffees a day, despite the room coffee being Nestle instant. That was not an issue for us as coffee in the restaurant and bar is available all day. We ate in the restaurant for dinner a couple of times and the food is outstanding, everything prepared in the French just-so manner. The staff there, whose names I noted and wrote directly to the hotel to give them our review, was warm and helpful, kind and multilingual. The space is popular with tour groups; so keep that in mind. The executive lounge is a Hilton special perk that I see dwindling down quickly. Very few properties have them these days that I can tell except for Conrads and the very upscale properties. Not sure why this property keeps theirs open, but I am glad that it is there. There is wine and beer and soft drinks that are replenished all throughout the day. The outdoor deck is spectacular and there is indoor seating as well. There's also a gourmet coffee machine in there if you get a room with lounge access.I didn't realize until this week that, after nearly a year, I'll be heading back and am delighted to get to visit again.

Magical Stay at the Hilton Evian-les-bains
18 Sept 2025
Just returned from a 6 night luxurious stay at the Hilton Evian Les Bains. Can’t say enough as to how relaxed we were staying in one location, while exploring some local spots. We were cuddled with care the moment we arrived by the Front Desk agent (Mari Brown)and Front Office Manager.(Diogo). Our room was large and well appointed, including a very nice balcony looking onto Lake Geneva. The breakfast buffet had great offerings, as did the Executive Lounge located on the top floor with an unobstructed, direct view of the Lake. The hotel is very well located, a 5 minute walk to the Ferry (from Lausanne) and in spite of being older travelers- we could walk to very good restaurants ,shopping and other attractions nearby. The Valet/Bellman, who has worked at the hotel for 15 years ,recommended a Michelin rated restaurant that we particularly enjoyed! The steam room in the spa was very nice- but unfortunately could not fit a treatment in this time– although they appeared very reasonably priced. The only criticism was that the spa could use an update (lockers) and add some amenities like extra towels etc.Hilton Evian is a wonderful retreat for both relaxation and exploration! The Housekeeping staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist.

French Fawlty Towers
16 Sept 2025
Please be advised its an old hotel. We were in a family suite that was obviously smoked in and it wasn’t possible to get us a decent room (we paid 375 euro). Breakfast is basic; its more Garden Inn then Hilton. After we checked out earlier, we were weirdly called (stalked) by a manager claiming to be from Hilton and he was abusive because we left earlier. It was a strange experience. The spa is more or less just a 9m pool and a lukewarm sauna (65 degrees). All in all: this felt like the French version of Fawlty Towers.

Dear Sir,Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations, despite the solutions offered to you by our team throughout your stay. As we explained to you in our email, the hotel did contact you after your departure because you had a new reservation for that same evening, and we wanted to know if we should keep that reservation. We always treat our guests with the utmost respect, and it was certainly never our intention to pressure you. We would like to apologize again for this feeling, which was in no way intentional. We hope that this experience has not prevented you from enjoying our beautiful region. We wish you a wonderful day and remain at your disposal for any further requests. Kind regards,The Hilton Evian-les-Bains team

Enjoyable Stay
13 Aug 2025
Hilton, Evian-Les-BainsWe want to express our utmost satisfaction with our two-week stay at the Hilton hotel with our children and grandchildren for the second time. First of all , we would like to express our sincere appreciation to Mr Bellini for his constant availability and friendliness everywhere in the hotel . His personal attention to our two children’s birthday dinners on 20 and 21st July respectively was very much appreciated . We were profoundly touched by his gesture when you served the birthday cakes in person . The reception and service were exceptional. Every morning, we felt utterly at home thanks to the friendly and professional breakfast staff, that included, Fouzia, Tajir, Nicole, Eric, Amelie, Margaux and Walid. Their warm welcome and friendly attitude made our breakfast even more enjoyable. Our arrival and departure were handled efficiently by a professional and helpful team , especially , Rodrigues for the reservation and Diogo and Meri for the rest of our stay, together with the concierge staff particularly Richard Pierre and his young colleagues. We will not forget the friendliness and availability of Laurent, in the Lounge and that of Maximilian at the swimming pool. We look forward to another stay at the Hilton Evian-Les-Bains and highly recommend the place. The Baker Family

Excellent stay!
16 Jul 2025
My wife and I stayed here for four nights while on our summer vacation. It was a redemption stay, costing 279,000 points. Given that the Amundi Evian LPGA tour coincided with our stay we thought it was excellent value. We had a partial lake view room on the second floor which was nicely furnished although we found the bed a little too firm for our liking. The room was a decent size with a small balcony. The air conditioning struggled to get the temperature below 21C but given the weather at the time it was still refreshing. The hotel’s location is ideal for anyone wanting to explore the city or take the boat over to Lausanne. It’s about a five minute walk to the CGN dock. The only downside is that the main entrance to the hotel is up a small but steep hill and it’s a bit of a struggle if you have suitcases etc. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The French toast was exceptional and the freshly-prepared omelettes were also well worth having. The buffet was pretty impressive although some of the hot items could have been hotter. We ate outdoors at the restaurant on three consecutive evenings. Food was nicely presented and staff looked after us - even when the weather turned and we had a torrential downpour during a thunderstorm. We had a steak and lamb chops from the wood-fired BBQ one evening and both were excellent. The burger was also a solid choice. We visited the Executive Lounge each night. The food selection was a little limited (bread, cheese, soup, salad) but there was a good choice of drinks available. The view over Lac Leman is stunning and the lounge was consistently peaceful and quiet. Laurent deserves special mention as he looked after us on two evenings and was very friendly and professional.Overall we had an excellent stay. We’d certainly stay again.
