Must visit in Les Arcs, Great SPA with amazing view on the Alps

  08 Apr 2026

A pleasant surprise in Les Arcs, I visited multiple times even with friends to enjoy their SPA and wellness area, Margaux the SPA's manager is very cordial and from the moment she welcomes you in it feels like home, the atmosphere is very relaxed, quiet and intimate, perfect if you want to relax both physically and mentally. The SPA is well equipped with changing rooms, showers both in the changing rooms and the pool area, and lockers where you can leave your stuff before enjoying your day there. They wellness area is composed by pool (slighlty heated), internal jacuzzi, external jacuzzi with view on the ski slopes and mountains from which you can see a beautiful sunset, hammam steam room, and sauna. The hotels reception will provide you upon request with flip flops in case you don't have your own, fresh towels on demand at the SPA. Also I really recommend their massages, both Margaux and the therapists do a great job at making you feel at ease before your session. You can enjoy a warm tea in the lounge area, which faces a less busy tract of the wood covered area of the mountain before going in, I had my massage done at 7pm and enjoyed the view of the sunset visible through the lounge's large windows, the massage itself is a tailored experience, they give you a form to fill out with any specific requirements you may have, what you would like to focus on, what sensation you want to achieve or enhance, what fragrances and oils you would like them to use during the massage, and anything they should be aware of, be it delicate or sensitive areas of your body and or medical conditions you might have. The Physioski massage therapists are welcoming and warm, cordial and highly professional. Overall a great experience that lead me to going back whenever I had the chance, I also recommend the Hotel's restaurant and bar area, both of which have a very good atmosphere and are very well decorated, the restaurant especially being dimly lit, with a rather large dining area and cordial and attentive team feels private and intimate, perfect for a quiet and peaceful dinner, their wine selection is excellent and I really like the detail of the Cave à Vin being dimly lit at the entrance. If you are in Les Arcs it is a must visit. Thank you for the amazing experiences Altezza , Autre at Altezza Arc 1800 Hotel & Spa, responded to this review Bonjour,Un immense merci pour votre magnifique retour et pour votre fidélité à notre établissement !Nous sommes ravis de lire que vous appréciez autant notre espace bien-être et le SPA, ainsi que la vue sur les Alpes et les pistes. Disappointing stay

  29 Dec 2025

Very disappointing stayStayed at Altezza Arc 1800 for 6 nights and it was a huge disappointment. The only positive is the view of the valley. The indoor jacuzzi was dirty most of the time. Parking is very limited and poorly explained when booking — there are two parkings at different levels, spaces are small, and if you have a slightly larger car it’s very difficult. The hotel advertises afternoon snacks like paninis, tacos, ice creams, etc., but in reality they only had dry sausage and crepes. I had to walk into town just to get a hot lunch. Not suitable for families with kids. There’s nothing to do in or around the hotel. A small playroom exists, but children get bored after one or two nights.Overall, one of the worst holidays I’ve had. I feel like I wasted my money and will not return.

  Drain smell

  15 Apr 2025

We were staying on the top floor of this hotel and the smell of drains was constant and overbearing throughout our stay. The smell even made our clothes smell as on our return to England our friend commented on it when were picked up from the airport. We did complain to reception and they gave various excuses but still the problem persisted. We have stayed in this hotel on 3 previous occasions but won't be back Hôtel Altezza, Service clients/Réception at Altezza Arc 1800 Hotel & Spa, responded to this review Dear guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Nicely renovated hotel with great service and location!

  17 Mar 2025

Excellent ski hotel with almost direct access to the slopes (short walk in the morning, direct access on the way back). Rooms are clean, spacious and nice with good beds and excellent, modern bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant had great views. Even though our rooms were on the ground floor we had nice views with the proximity to the ski room being an added bonus. The staff was friendly and the bar drew a nice crowd in the evenings (no noise issues though). The restaurants of Arc 1800 are a short walk away. Definitely recommended for a ski trip!
