    Much better than many reviews.

    rating20 Mar 2026

A great holiday at this hotel. Way above expectations, after the many unfavorable reviews. Room was basic but clean, with lots of storage space. Pity there wasn't a chair in the room or on the balcony. Restaurant was excellent, with a good range of food at breakfast and dinner. No waiting for a table, even at the busiest times. The availability of a fondue was advertised in the restaurant and was easily booked, even for one person. Plenty of information scattered around the hotel about things to do in Les Arcs and about the extras available with an Essential lift pass.If you are an oldster, like me, you only pay 10 euros for a six day pass. Some good entertainment at night, in the bar area. The interactive quiz was good, with plenty for English speakers.Don't be put off by some of the negative reviews. If you feel like a bit of an adventure, have a go of the Zip Line in Arcs 2000. trade-off between price and what you get

    rating19 Mar 2026

This was my second stay at the hotel, this time outside the school holiday season. It’s pretty much exactly as I remember it from two years ago: perfectly functional, but very dated. The location is still fantastic — true ski-in, ski-out, so you never have to take your skis off. Food-wise, both breakfast and dinner are plentiful, but the quality and variety are fairly average.Overall, it feels like a bit of a trade-off between price and what you get. Hotel- cmanager, Owner at Club Belambra - L'Aiguille Rouge, responded to this review Dear Guest, We would like to thank you for this feedback about your experience at Belambra Clubs - L'Aiguille Rouge. We are delighted that the fantastic location and true ski-in, ski-out access continued to enhance your stay, allowing you to make the most of the slopes effortlessly. That said, we sincerely regret that certain elements did not meet your expectations. Our commitment to balancing affordability with quality remains a priority, and we take your observations about the accommodations and dining variety seriously as we plan future updates. Your feedback on these aspects is invaluable.Nonetheless, we are pleased to note your appreciation for our team's service quality, which reflects our dedication to guest care. The breathtaking views of Mont Blanc from our south-facing terrace remain a highlight we love sharing with all visitors. We would love to welcome you in another of our 50 holiday clubs in France.See you soon!Jérôme, Service Relation Clients Belambra

    All OK for price

    rating28 Feb 2026

Overall pretty good. BUT - the hotel is quite someway from where the coach drops you off. The bar does not take cash. The rooms are not cleaned/tidied/towels replaced/bins emptied at all (in their attempt to help the environment - or save costs?!) Good food and quaffable wine. Ski in and out. Ski rental nearby. Plenty of hot water. Easy access to Olympique Sq and Arc 1950. Boot warmers worked!! Hotel- cmanager, Owner at Club Belambra - L'Aiguille Rouge, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re delighted to hear you found our pricing reasonable and enjoyed both the cuisine and selection of wines. Your appreciation for the ski-in/ski-out access, proximity of rental services, and reliable amenities truly warms our hearts. That said, we sincerely regret that certain aspects of your stay fell short of your expectations. While our bar operates cashless to streamline service, we understand this can be unexpected. Regarding room upkeep, our eco-friendly approach includes mid-stay cleaning and linen refreshment upon request, which we’re happy to clarify for future visits.Nonetheless, it’s wonderful to know our prime location enhanced your access to both skiing and local attractions like Olympique Square. We hope the stunning Mont Blanc views from our terrace added to your mountain experience. We would be happy to welcome you in another of our 50 holiday clubs in FranceSincerely,

More hostel than hotel - excellent location

    rating07 Feb 2026

I’ve just come back from 7 nights here and this is my 100% honest review of the good and the bad for this hotel. When I was reading reviews of this place I had a lot of questions so I’m hopefully going to answer some of them for anyone reading this. Starting with the positive things… the location of this hotel is amazing, couldn’t get any better, it genuinely is ski in & out right from the door. Another pro is the heated boot/locker room, although it is absolutely boiling in there when you are trying to put your boots on/off it’s definitely a great facility - although do note it’s hard to fit 2 snowboards in one locker, definitely takes some patience. In terms of things that were just average, I’d say the food, there’s a lot of variety but all of the food labels/descriptions are in French so sometimes when food is covered in sauce it’s hard to tell what it is. On the topic of language, some of the staff don’t speak any English which is totally okay but was tricky when asking for new plates or food descriptions. Also there were a lot of activities in the evenings but again everything was in French so we felt as though we couldn’t really participate as we didn’t understand so if you are going with children and looking for evening activities/entertainment that would be something to note. Back to the food, it was mostly a good temperature however the plates are cold so the food cools quickly and there were a few times where the plates were dirty or there were no plates or water jugs so you had to wait until a staff member would come out with some which usually took quite a while. I would also recommend getting to the restaurant for when it opens at 18:30, we learnt this the hard way turning up at 19:30 and couldn’t get a table for 25 minutes so we ended up leaving and having to buy food elsewhere. After that we turned up to the restaurant 10 minutes before opening and people were queuing to get a table so that is something to take note of. Another thing that is average is the rooms, I’d say they’re more of a hostel vibe than hotel. We stayed in a triple room but the “double bed” was 2 singles pushed together and had 2 single duvets on it. The beds are fairly firm and the pillows slightly questionable but at the end of a long day it’s somewhere to sleep.Honestly I think only a child could fit in that bath so make sure you are happy with only having showers. Our bathroom was dirty when we arrived and when we went to reception the next day to tell them they said they don’t enter guests rooms at all during their stay in to which I showed her the photos of it being dirty and someone did come to clean it. So that was good but also important to note that you need to check your room for things in the first few hours & report it for it to be resolved but also there’s no fresh towels or anything throughout the stay. We were also surprised to find that the bathroom had no soap, none at all, no hand soap, no body wash or shampoo so make sure you bring that with you. There is also no safe in the room, the staff obviously aren’t expected to go into any rooms anyway because they don’t clean them throughout the week but no safe was surprising to us. We stayed in room 911, the 9th floor is actually one of the lowest floors as “ground level” or 0 is reception and is at the very top of the hotel and you get the lift down to all the rooms. I would suggest asking for a room on any floor but number 9 as there’s a separate lift for staff that starts from the 9th floor and we could hear staff using it and walking up and down our corridor all night (sometimes quite loudly) and the lift is quite loud. If you are a heavy sleeper or have really good ear plugs then you’ll probably be fine. WiFi is also an extra charge, 2 devices costs €15 or 5 devices is €20 but there is some free WiFi in the reception area that works quite well. Overall i would say this is a very budget hotel that feels more like a hostel in my opinion, the location is excellent but some of the other areas let it down a little bit. Hotel- cmanager, Owner at Club Belambra - L'Aiguille Rouge, responded to this review Dear Guest, We would like to thank you for this feedback about your experience at Belambra Clubs - L'Aiguille Rouge. We are delighted that our prime ski-in/ski-out location enhanced your experience, along with the convenience of our heated boot and locker facilities.Still, we sincerely apologize that your stay did not meet your expectations in several areas. Our team is committed to ensuring all guests feel welcomed regardless of language, and we take note of your observations on multilingual communication and activity participation. While our buffet aims to offer varied international options, we regret any confusion caused by labeling and will revisit this balance. Regarding accommodation specifics, we confirm our rooms follow basic Alpine standards designed for functionality after active days, though we understand preferences vary.Nonetheless, we deeply appreciate your recognition of our unparalleled mountain access, this remains our proudest offering alongside Savoyard culinary traditions presented in panoramic dining spaces. We hope we may have the occasion to welcome you back in one of our 50 clubs in France for an improved experience. Kindest regards,Jérôme, Service Relation Clients Belambra

The room void of any furniture.

    rating07 Feb 2026

The weather was nice and there was plenty of snow. However I will not recommend your hotel to my friends. It is the first time in my life (and I am 76) that I stay in the room withno chairs,no table,no cups,no teapot,no soap.Concerning the meals, the hot water was over before the breakfast was over, and the vine was over before the dinner was over. Same for the cups.I think my disappointment is very natural in view of the fact that I have paid for my room more than 2000 € for one week. For that amount one naturally expects much more than just an empty room with two beds and no other furniture... Hotel- cmanager, Owner at Club Belambra - L'Aiguille Rouge, responded to this review Dear Guest, We would like to thank you for this feedback about your experience at Belambra Clubs - L'Aiguille Rouge. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the favorable weather conditions and abundant snow during your stay, which are indeed highlights of our exceptional mountain location. That said, we deeply regret that your experience did not meet the standards we strive to uphold. While our rooms are designed to provide essential comforts, we recognize that certain amenities were not available during your visit. Regarding the dining service, our team typically monitors replenishments closely, and we apologize for any oversight in maintaining adequate supplies.Nonetheless, we take pride in our prime location offering direct slope access and proximity to Les Arcs' vibrant center, which we hope contributed positively to your ski holiday. We value your input as it helps us improve, and we hope you might consider returning for a more fulfilling experience. We would love to welcome you in another of our 50 holiday clubs in France.See you soon!Jérôme, Service Relation Clients Belambra
