Location

This hotel is located at the heart of Chamonix, about 500 m from the ski lifts and 800 m from the cross-country ski tracks. The main railway station is about 10 minutes walk away and transfer to Geneva Airport take about 1 hour by car.

Facility

87 rooms, including 12 suites and 5 single rooms, are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a baggage storage service and a safe ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. A variety of shops are available, including a souvenir shop. Guests of the hotel can enjoy various recreational facilities, including the garden, during their stay. Additional amenities include a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Bicycles can be kept in the bicycle storage area. Complimentary newspapers are available. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available.

Rooms

Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom. Central heating ensures comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax on the balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. The indoor and outdoor pools are ideal for exercise as well as relaxation. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and golf are available. Water sports enthusiasts are offered canoeing. The surroundings of the hotel offer an ideal environment for skiing. Ski passes are available locally. The hotel offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis and aerobics or, for a fee, billiards. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam and a solarium. Subject to charge: massage treatments. An entertainment programme and a kids' club round out the entertainment options.

Meals

Dining facilities include a non-smoking restaurant, a café and a bar. Half board is offered as a catering option. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. Lunch is served as a set menu, and guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu for dinner. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    The hotel worked great for two older guy friends skiing for a week. The thumbs up go to the excellent location, good clean rooms (very clean), helpful staff and convenience of an attached ski shop. The included buffet breakfast as OK, but nothing to write home about. If you really care about a pool, sauna or hot tub this isn't the best choice. The spa area is small so is the pool and hot tub. You have to book time to visit the spa area in advance given its small size. The complaints I'd read beforehand about the water in the hot tub being luke warm were accurate and the hot tub is really for fitting no more than two people at a time. Again, the hotel worked really for us and liked it, but had the spa area been better we would have been much happier. Maybe they should dump the tiny hot tub and put in a sauna instead? Many other small hotel we've been to have saunas, rather than hot tubs. Just a thought as we do like the hotel, and if they correct the spa it'd be a hit of a place.     Wonderful place with amazing staff

    We spent over a week in Chamonix at this hotel. It was the best possible choice. The hotel is a bit out of the way but very close to both the center and the trails. Inside, there's a modern fitness room and spa. But above all, the atmosphere is created by the people. Owen and Kate, whom we met here, were incredibly kind and had infectious smiles. Always ready to help and filled with positive energy. We will definitely be back!And Angie - our mix terrier spend the best holiday in Her dog’s life!!!     Excellent location, parking available for a fee. Close to bus stop, Aiguille du Midi gondola, and restaurants/shops. Lovely view of Mont Blanc. Spa area is compact but nice with an outdoor green space with mountain view.     Stunning views

    Stayed here for 5 nights and wished it was longer. Hotel is in a great location- literally 3 minute walk to all the restaurants / shops in Chamonix town & yet so quiet & peaceful. The views from our balcony were amazing- Mont Blanc in all it’s glory. Stunning. We used the spa a few times & it was lovely to have a chill out & rest in the afternoon from all the hiking. We didn’t dine in the hotel so can’t comment but the restaurant & bar areas looked nice.Everyone on reception were really friendly , especially Kate who was great in giving us advice on walks/ locations Would definitely come back to this hotel!
