  End of season rundown. Brakfast ran out of boiled eggs on 2nd day, then ran out of butter, hash browns and bacon, no sign of ketchup or brown sauce. The bar has no beer left!. Evening meals have been OK but progressively fewer options and no main meat dish by Wednesday, very short on fruit. What food is there is very nice.Area of restaurant with panoramic view is closed to guests, but ok for staff.Hotel is very very tired and rundown. Only redeeming feature is great location.   Highly recommend for a family ski

  We’ve just returned from a fantastic week’s stay at Le Terra Nova (Belambra), booked through Inghams, and wanted to share our experience.Before travelling, we were a little unsure due to some mixed reviews, but we really didn’t need to worry. The hotel has recently been taken over by the Belambra chain and it suited our needs perfectly.The location is a real highlight – true ski-in, ski-out access made everything so easy, and having a ski shop within the hotel for equipment hire was incredibly convenient. It’s also ideally situated just a short 5-minute walk from Plagne Centre, with plenty of local amenities and restaurants nearby. We stayed as a family of four (2 adults and children aged 8 and 12) and found the family room comfortable with enough space for all of us. The staff were excellent throughout our stay – friendly, helpful, and always accommodating.We opted for half board and were really impressed with the food. Both breakfast and dinner offered a great selection, with plenty of variety for both adults and children. Housekeeping was also very good, with rooms cleaned most days and fresh towels provided regularly.A special mention to Hamis, a maitre-d in the restaurant who was always so upbeat and accommodating, as well as Dominika the Inghams rep, who was brilliant – always available and happy to help with any questions or arrangements.A couple of minor downsides:There were no après-ski snacks or food options available, aside from crêpes, which felt a bit limited after a day on the slopes. Our room also wasn’t cleaned on one day (Sunday) without explanation, and the outdoor terrace area lacked seating, which would have been a nice addition.Overall, though, we had a really enjoyable stay and would happily return. A great option for families looking for convenience, comfort, and excellent access to the slopes.   Unclear why there are many bad reviews.. Just checked out this morning and it was 10/10 if you stay here with the expectations of what you’re paying for, and it still seems like a bargain! Room was clean, smelt clean and had nice white bedding. Breakfast was fresh every day, pastries, cold platters, hot food plenty of choice and always topped up within a few minutes when low. This is a fairly basic hotel (3 stars after all) but it is clean and the location is absolutely fantastic. The views at breakfast are incredible. Would happily stay here multiple times and the ski lockers make it ultra convenient. Great stay!   Great place for the price. Rooms clean and comfy if a little tired, but the place has been there since the 80s. Friendly, helpful staff, especially the wonderful chap that opened breakfast 30 mins early for us on the day we were leaving. A good selection of tasty food both at breakfast and dinner, free wine with your meal, a big comfy bar area with pool, table football and darts and you can ski to the boot room door!! What more do you need? I would definitely stay here again. Thank you.   Great location, lovely welcoming hotel

  After reading an earlier review which was quite damning of this hotel we were quite apprehensive about our upcoming holiday here. We should not of been concerned, we've just come back from a week skiing with family & we had the most wonderful time. Our room was large, clean & warm, all the staff we interacted with were very friendly & welcoming especially Halis who always had a smile & warm welcome, he looked after us magnificently so a big thank you to him.The food was excellent, every evening there was a wide range of choice even for the younger ones, breakfasts were very good too, we certainly didn't go hungry!Such a bonus being able to ski directly from the hotel to the lifts & the boot room had a great system of allocating a locker to your room so no confusion there. Also very convenient being able to collect your hire skis from the shop next to the boot room in the hotel, it was very busy on the first day but that's to be expected.We would certainly have no hesitation in staying here again.
