  Not value for money

  06 Jan 2026

Unfortunately NOT value for money, because of the poor cleaning facilities. You have to demand cleaning and when cleaning finally comes , the same used feet towels were hunged in the place of face towels. You have to go to the reception to give your used towels to take new ones … We stayed 5 days and they never changed any sheet. Food and breakfast was OK and the location was good. Vacances Bleues, Service clients/Réception at Club Les Alpes D'azur Vacances Bleues, responded to this review Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. We are surprised by your comments regarding cleanliness, as this is a point usually highly rated by our guests. We would like to clarify that, in line with 3-star standards and ecological practices, daily sheet changes are not systematic during a short stay unless specifically requested. However, we have taken good note of your remarks regarding the towels to ensure our procedures are strictly followed. We are glad you enjoyed the breakfast and our location.Best regards,Julia

  Enjoyable holiday in Serre Chevalier!

  02 Jan 2026

We had a lovely holiday at Alpes Azur. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms comfortable and clean. Pool/spa area was lovely. Free bus to the ski lifts in the morning, lunchtime and end of day were great especially as the hotel is a bit far from the main lifts, but even without the hotel bus, it was easy and cheap to get the Ligne 6 into La Salle des Alpes for the gondola/lifts. Handy ski lockers assigned room by room. Really enjoyed the Christmas Eve Reveillon celebration.Things that would have made it better- not much accommodation for vegetarians (but that’s not unusual in France/ski areas, and we appreciated what effort was made so thank you/merci! - and also the info that we had a vegetarian in our party wasn’t passed on by the company we used to book. - the gym room was locked and could only be open when reception was open - which meant couldn’t use before 8 a.m. Otherwise, merci beaucoup for a fantastic holiday. Vacances Bleues, Service clients/Réception at Club Les Alpes D'azur Vacances Bleues, responded to this review Dear Sally, Thank you very much for your kind review. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed your stay at Alpes Azur, particularly the warm welcome from our team, the comfort of the rooms, the spa area and the practical services such as the ski lockers and transport options to the slopes. Your feedback is appreciated and helps us continue to improve our services. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again in Serre Chevalier.Kind regards,Julia

  Great value, fully French experience

  24 Feb 2025

This is our second year here. Both times we have enjoyed the truly French nature of the hotel, with a great french style buffet and friendly staff. Pool (a bit cold!) and steam room are a great hit. Very few English people in the hotel - but that is part of the charm! Car helps but ski bus is perfectly fine if you don't have one. Vacances Bleues, Service clients/Réception at Club Les Alpes D'azur Vacances Bleues, responded to this review Dear Cathey, Thank you for your kind words regarding your recent stay with us ?? We are delighted to know that you enjoyed the experience our hotel offers, along with our buffet and the hospitality of our staff. We have taken note of your comment regarding the pool temperature and will pass it on to the relevant department for consideration. We look forward to welcoming you back next year.Sincerely,Julia

  Disappointed

  06 Jan 2023

The food was very basic and lacked flavour, and there was a lot of young kids running around the place creating lots of noise. The beds were uncomfortable with a singular pillow. The room keys didn’t work a few times. However the bar area is nice but can be overshadowed by games being played every night when some people would prefer to have a social drink. SERVICE RELATION CLIENTS, Service clients/Réception at Club Les Alpes D'azur Vacances Bleues, responded to this review Dear Connel, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry that your stay did not fully meet your expectations. Our holiday club welcome many families during the school holidays (which lasted until 08/01 in Italy nearby). Perhaps a stay outside this period would have suited you better. About the food and the comfort of your room, we inform our teams of your comment and areas for improvement. It will be a pleasure to welcome you again,Kind Regards, Julia, Customer service

  Disappointing experience with reservation

  03 May 2018

I am really disappointed with communication of this hotel. I have made a reservation via Booking.com in October 2017 and after that I was trying contact the hotel to confirm my booking. The phone call without answer. Finally in the middle of October I have found the another phone number and I have spoken with someone from the company of this hotel. He advised me to write an email and I did. But no answer at all again. I finally spoke with another staff from the company two weeks ago. But she told me, that they couldn’t find my reservation made via Booking.com (of course I have sent her a copy of my confirmation of reservation). Really disappointing, because I am preparing my trip half a year and a few weeks before it I still have no sure. Sad. Disgusting.
