Location

The residence is ideally located at the foot of the escalator leading to the heart of the resort with easy access to the ski resort and shops (200 m). Caressing the Écrins National Park and the valleys of Champsaur and Valgaudemar, Orcières prides itself on being different. Indeed, Orcières 1850 offers this rare alchemy between the snowy Alps in the north, and the sun and light of the Southern Alps. The nearest train station is around 33 km from the family-friendly apartment hotel and nearby airports include Marseille Provence Airport (213 km away), Megève (222 km away), Lyon-Saint Exúpery (232 km away), Geneva International (249 km away) and Nice-Cote D'Azur International (360 km away).

Facility

175 apartments are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A safe, a coin-operated laundry, a smoke alarm and a smoking area are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The apartment complex offers a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Bicycle storage is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well.

    Too bad the service to the reception is not the priority of this residence.After having had a very kind first receptionist, had to suffer the inefficiency of the following, and especially their 'contempt' following the remarks we made (4 days of garbage in the corridors,door of stairs that slam day and night etc...)     FLEE Cheap and not clean + crook Be careful of the photos because no inventory they take the entire deposit for no reason and without explanation recourse very difficult especially when they promise to call you back but without success or when they hang up on you Originally submitted in French on www.tripadvisor.fr.     A nice stay with friendly and helpful staff. A bit small appartements but with everything you need. Very cosy sleeping blankets. Easy access to skiing area with electric stairs.

    We had a great time in accomodation and on the mountain. Nice people, very friendly, great skiing, reasonable prices in restaurants and cafes.
