    High Standards Indeed

This was my second stay at the Mont Blanc Hotel, this time I returned with my family. As per my previous experience , the stand out professional and friendly staff are a credit to the management , always eager to help. A nod to Vincent at the bar, who kept my husband entertained with a shared enthusiasm for Formula 1.The interiors of this hotel , are beautifully designed, clean fresh rooms with stunning view’s of the Alps. Great restaurant of a high standard and located right in the town with access to bars and eateries. A short walk to the main Gondola or the hotel will happily ferry you back and forth. Added bonus of a Clarins spa onsite , outdoor pool and lovely boot room for your ski equipment.I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and will no doubt be back for a third visit.

This charming mountain hotel combines cozy interiors with impressive views of Mont Blanc. The spa facilities add an extra layer of comfort after a day outdoors.

    Stunning in every way.

I stayed here with my wife in May 2025 and had a wonderful time. The hotel is lovely and cosy. The room was fantastic with the most amazing bathroom and shower. The staff couldn't do enough for us and we were very much looked after. They even gave me a prime parking spot right outside the front steps. The room has a view directly towards Mont Blanc and the same view from in the outdoor pool was an amazing experience. We will be back!

As a hotelier myself I was totally amazed by the staff. The cleanliness the facilities the ambiance from arrival to departure it was like entering another world. A true escape. While not cheap you can’t buy class and this was one of the classiest places I have ever had the pleasure of visiting.

Noisier than a big city hotel

    rating03 Sept 2025

I am writing directly from the hotel. We booked 3 nights (2 + 1 night booked separately) in a prestige room (not a standard one) hoping to have a magical stay for my wife's birthday. Our room is in the back of the hotel with views of a super busy street with trucks and buses. Not to mention the noise of the machines (A/C I guess). Impossible to sleep last night which is ruining our nice long weekend for a birthday. While the staff is nice (they agreed to cancel and refund our last night after we realized the room would be even worse), I am really saddened to see that they are not organized and that nothing can be done. They are fully booked but the hotel appears empty and most rooms were off past night. That said, they tried to sell us the suite as a solution, or chocolates and flowers for my wife's birthday. Cheesy and at a price that made me laugh. This hotel is ruining my wife's birthday weekend. At the price we paid for a prestige room, we expected something better than a view of a parking lot, and a super busy road (main street of Chamonix with buses and trucks - heavy traffic!). We live in Paris, so this hotel could have become our long weekend getaway but no thank you. Our apartment in Paris is less noisy when we open our windows, which we do every day. And the fact that there is no solution is an example of poor 5* hotel management. I wish we could check out early but since everything is prepaid and nonrefundable. The only positive is the spa and the outdoor pool. But I am worried I will drown since I barely slept last night. Do not stay here! Tatjana CAILLAUX, Autre at Hotel Mont-Blanc, responded to this review Dear Sir,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. However, we would have sincerely appreciated the opportunity to hear your remarks during your stay or at the time of your departure, rather than discovering them afterwards. I also attempted to reach you by phone in order to discuss this matter in person, but unfortunately without success. To celebrate your wife’s birthday, we were pleased to offer you a half-bottle of champagne in your room. It is surprising that you did not mention this gesture, which was part of our intention to mark this important occasion and to add a special touch to your stay. Usually, these attentions are reserved for anniversaries that fall exactly during the dates of the stay, and not several days afterwards, as was the case for your wife. For other special options, our concierge remains at your disposal to propose personalized arrangements such as flowers, chocolates... but you will surely understand that it is not possible for us to offer these complimentary to all of our guests.Regarding the outside noise, we are surprised by your impression. Your room, located on the 4th floor is equipped, like all our rooms, with double glazing that meets hotel standards. If the hotel may have seemed quiet, it is simply because our guests generally spend the entire day enjoying mountain activities, however, we were indeed fully booked during your stay and not able to offer a different room category. We sincerely regret that, despite our efforts, your experience did not meet your expectations. Guest satisfaction remains our priority, and I would truly have valued the opportunity to discuss your concerns with you directly during your stay.We hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust on a future visit to Chamonix. With our kindest regards,
