    Excellent location

    rating06 Feb 2026

Excellent location, next door to ski school builing, around the corner of Inter sports ski rentals. 5 min walk to Village chair then ski to Solaise or Olympic godola. 1 block from Spars market and lots of restaurants/shops. Good breakfast friendly 24 hour staff. Will come back again next year.

    Convenient Val D'isere stay

    rating01 Feb 2026

We booked the Mountain View room with a loft and balcony. The layout was great with two full bathrooms (one with a tub and the other with a rain-style showerhead). Loft had its own door and a glass wall (with curtains), giving it privacy while still feeling open. 5th-floor room was quiet. The room's wooden crossbeams were cracked in half, which was structurally concerning.Breakfast was good but repetitive with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, hard-boiled eggs, pastries, yogurt, and fresh fruit. Each room has its own ski locker equipped with boot warmers. The locker room is crowded in the mornings and late afternoons. Free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Single small elevator. Can buy ski passes directly at reception which saves time. Unbeatable location: short walk to the slopes, right across from ESF ski school, down the street from both Killy Sport and Intersport for rentals, 7-minute walk to Spar supermarket. Overall, we loved our stay. The hotel’s convenience, comfort, and location make it an easy choice, and we would absolutely stay here again.

    ROOM IS VERY LOUD

    rating08 Jan 2026

The hotel itself was decent but my room (101) was very noisy. You can hear people walking, talking through the walls/ceiling and you can hear water running through the pipes in the walls. I also heard music and people ( I assume) from the adjacent bar/restaurant until 12:30-1am on most nights. I spoke with the owner of the hotel as soon as I checked in and she said that people have never complained about the room and that it’s daytime so it’s normal for people to be walking around. I asked her to come to my room so she could hear the noise and she said no and that she was the owner and there’s no noise - in hindsight you could tell she’s heard this before and I had struck a nerve. She said that she was fully booked and that I could leave and find another hotel if I wanted (it’s 6pm on a Friday on Jan 2nd). Then 20 minutes later she called me and said that I could switch rooms but she would charge me more. I asked her to cover the difference and she said no. I can understand that some rooms have some noise, but this is constant, loud and the owner had no empathy or remorse. I stayed at the hotel for about a week and it did not get any better. You can see people (I think workers from the adjacent businesses) standing and hanging out around the back area which happens to be next to your window. Other complaints. 1. The tv didn’t work. There’s no cable or source or TV (or ability to connect to another device. 2. The shower has about an 8” piece of glass that’s supposed to keep the water in but obviously it does nothing and water sprays all over. 3. There are signs everywhere that say you cannot open the windows due to the cold weather and fear of their radiator bursting. However it’s incredibly warm in the rooms and you sweat at night. The only things that were good: 1. The location is very convenient and close to the slopes. 2. The staff (minus the owner/manager) are very niceSummary - do not stay here if you care about sleeping and don’t like lots of noise.

    Very good hotel for skiing

    rating17 Mar 2025

This is a fantastic hotel based in the heart of Val.......went with a mate for 4 days skiing, the room was a bit cosy and two single beds but fine and the bathroom was very good. Breakfast was very good, buffet style with choice of English, continental and French and top quality. The staff were really friendly and helpful, went out of their way to make the stay as pleasant as possible, and the whole vibe was very relaxed.Highly recommend and would definitely book again

    Fabulous Hotel

    rating19 Jan 2025

Nothing was too much trouble at this hotel. From the welcoming arrival to our departure everyone was so helpful and friendly. Location is excellent, just of Main square, so easy to ski in and out… perfect when legs are tired Breakfast had a great selection of food and catered for those with gluten or dairy intolerances. A couple of stand outs by the staff; No mirror in bedroom, asked at reception if they had one and within a few hours this was supplied Each morning the breakfast staff would bring me sliced lemons for my hot water without me having to ask One of the breakfast ladies (we didn’t get her name) even explained to us the Mountain View we had for our table at breakfast and was very interested in where we would be skiing that day Our departure time was early at 7.10, the hotel opened breakfast early so that people could have breakfast before departure Highly recommend this hotel, has a lovely feel and all their staff really want to care and help you and make sure your stay is how you want it to be
