    Loud music banging after 2300. Room is shaking from the bass. Called the reception and nothing has changed. We had a small kid, paying a premium price for a 4 star hotel and what you get is student dormitory level service......simply a joke!!!

    Perfect family ski stay with slope-side views and great facilities ⭐️

    We stayed as a family of four (two adults and two boys aged 10 and 12) at Hotel Saint Charles in one of their apartment-style lodges, and it was fantastic.Our lodge consisted of: • A bunk bedroom (perfect for the boys) • A king bedroom with TV • Separate toilet • Separate shower room • Lounge/dining area • KitchenetteEverything was clean, tidy, and very well maintained. There was daily maid service — they cleaned, replenished bottled water, replaced towels, and restocked toilet roll, which was a great touch.The kitchenette included a microwave, induction hob, and dishwasher. They provide two dishwasher tablets, a cloth, scourer, and washing-up liquid, but no tea towel, so worth bringing one.We were on the third floor (there is a lift) with good on-site parking. The highlight was our small balcony overlooking the ski slopes, absolutely beautiful views!We booked B&B (other board options are available). Breakfast was buffet style with hot items, cold meats, cheeses, yoghurts, cereals, toast, pastries, etc. There’s also a restaurant on site (booking required). We ate most evenings at Restaurant Le C2, which is attached to the hotel and very convenient. Across the road is Neapolitan’s Pizzeria, a reasonably priced pizza restaurant. There’s also a supermarket just a short walk away, plus a few shops including a souvenir shop.We pre-booked ski boots, skis, and lift passes before arrival, which made everything very smooth. ESF (ski school) offers lessons that we also booked in advance. Everything is on site and extremely easy to access. Our ski lesson meeting point was literally next to the hotel (depending on which meeting point you book).This was mine and the boys’ first time skiing, and we absolutely loved it, we can’t wait to go back! The hotel also provides ski lockers for poles and skis, which was really convenient.We would definitely stay here again, a lovely place in a beautiful location.

    Once fixed service and other major problem could become a pleasant place to stay (even if the rooms are very small and the value for money far to be acceptable)

    Fantastic stay for our first ski trip!

    Fantastic hotel. We stayed here for our first ever ski trip and loved it. Nice modern rooms with balcony’s, nice pool area, right by the ski lifts, ski rental shop and ESF ski instructor office both joined onto hotel. We didn’t use the restaurant but we used the bar which was very nice. We would definitely return in the future.
