    Great Hotel

The hotel itself was really nice and cosy. The room was clean and spacious and had a scenic view of the mountains. The staff were nice and helpful when asked about the skiing. Will definitely be back!

    Nice Hotel

    rating29 Mar 2026

Nice hotel, very nice lobby, clean and upbeat. Opted for superior room with view. Room was ok, nothing special, good view from balcony. Quiet on pool side, whereas many hotels in Chamonix have real noise problems with late night revelers on street and bars. Thought it was a bit pricey but it was ski season. Had breakfast 2 days and it was ok and I do not believe worth 27 euros pp. Excellent cafes in town I thought was a better option.Downside, since I did not book breakfast for the entire stay, the price changes from 22 euro pp to 27 euro pp. I asked the mgr why the sign in front of hotel lists breakfast at 22 euro he mumbled because we "purchased breakfast from the restaurant and not the hotel directly". I said I tried purchasing breakfast for some of the days of our stay when I checked in and prior to our arrival and was told I was unable to. I asked whether it would be 22 euro if I came to the front desk first before going into the restaurant and he seemed bothered and walked away.

    Fantastic stay

We had the best stay. Yes, the rooms aren’t quite 4 star (the toilet cubicle particularly) however… the room was always warm, clean, beds made, and the facilities you want/need.The pool and hot tub were fantastic, the location was spot on, and staff were friendly. Located directly opposite the ski bus for the slopes, and directly opposite the bus stop to get from/back to Geneva airport. We would 100% be back in a heartbeat.

Very disappointing stay considering the price.

We stayed at Les Aiglons from 21–24 February and paid close to €400 per night. Unfortunately, the first two nights were unacceptable. The first night there was a live band event at the hotel with very loud noise late into the evening. At the same time, the room had no proper ventilation or air conditioning, which made the room extremely hot. The only option was to open the window or terrace door, but then there was constant street noise outside. In other words: it was almost impossible to sleep. We contacted reception and asked if we could move to a quieter room. Due to full occupancy this was not possible until the third night. After moving rooms on the third night the stay improved, which clearly shows the issue was related to the original room.To be clear: we did not ask for a room upgrade – we only asked for a room where it was possible to sleep.Given the price level, basic sleeping conditions should not be an issue. After the stay we contacted the hotel and requested a partial refund for the two nights that were clearly below an acceptable standard. The hotel declined the request and has not responded to our follow-up message.Very disappointing handling of the situation.

Family 1st ski trip - would recommend and we would return

    rating01 Mar 2026

Ideal transfer time from Geneva for our 1st ski break where we stayed for 5 days. Great location in Chamonix, ski bus stop directly opposite the hotel so no need to carry those skis very far. Around 20 min to the slopes. The hotel has a great ski shop with safe secure locker rooms. The open fires in the bar area were a lovely welcome back from a long day. Drinks are pricey but this is a hotel so expected. Hotel becomes lively on a Saturday night with live music. The pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room were an added bonus to rest our aching limbs! Short walk to the center of Chamonix were you will find shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Very comfy bed and pillows helped with a great nice sleep after a long day on the slopes. Breakfast was repetitive however for 5 days this isn't a problem. Nice pizzeria across the road and tapas bar/restaurant next door. A great stay and we would definitely return.
