    Poor staff/facilities, decent for sleeping

    rating08 Apr 2026

We stayed here as a group of 12 and it was pretty disappointing overall. The apartment itself was fine, nothing special but decent enough, but everything else around it just wasn’t great. There was nowhere to properly store ski equipment which is kind of the bare minimum for a ski trip, so we ended up having to leave our rented skis and boots outside and then got complained at for doing that which made no sense. When we arrived there was no introduction or explanation of anything, we were just handed the keys and left to figure it all out ourselves. There were also basically no supplies provided, no cleaning products at all and only one toilet roll for 12 people which is just ridiculous. We ended up trying to clean the place ourselves with barely anything to use and then one of the staff came in and started shouting at one of our group which was completely unnecessary and pretty uncomfortable. Just felt like there was zero effort or care from management which is a shame because the place itself was alright but the experience definitely wouldn’t make me want to come back. Jean Christophe Martin, Directeur général at Les Logis D'orres, responded to this review Dear Alex,We are very sorry to hear how you felt following your stay with us. As we have already mentioned, as the check-in formalities were not completed upon your arrival, certain essential information, notably regarding access to the ski storage room, was provided to you at a later stage. Cleaning equipment is provided in the apartments, and a welcome kit containing essential items is handed over on arrival; any additional items are the responsibility of the guests, as specified in our terms and conditions. At the time of departure, despite your efforts, the condition of the property required extensive work by our cleaning team, which led to the deduction mentioned. Our teams are accustomed to handling such situations with discretion, and the tone you describe does not reflect their usual approach. It is a shame that these final moments left such an impression, when your week in the mountains seemed to be off to a good start, with skiing and a friendly atmosphere. We are sincerely sorry that your stay at Les Logis d’Orres has been reduced to this.Barbara GasquetGeneral Manager of the Logis d'Orres+33 4 92 44 00 07

    Disappointing customer service

    rating08 Apr 2026

A group of 12 of us stayed here for a week, choosing to book 2x 6 person apartments, and were happy with the accommodation as a whole. Throughout the week we enjoyed our skiing in les orres, however we were not informed of anywhere to keep our skis at night so they stayed outside our accommodation. This was all good until the final morning of our checkout, when a woman appeared at our door as we were deep cleaning our apartments, and started shouting at everyone that the place was not clean enough as we were mid cleaning. We brushed, mopped and wiped every surface in the place to the best of our ability (we were not supplied with any cleaning equipment, we had to purchase it ourselves), and as I was the last person to leave the apartment, she screamed in my face that the place was not clean, and she would deduct €98 off our deposit. This made me feel very uncomfortable as I was not expecting such anger from the worker, and I would not return here if I am to be treated like this again. Jean Christophe Martin, Directeur général at Les Logis D'orres, responded to this review Dear Will,We are genuinely puzzled by your feedback, particularly given your enjoyable week in Les Orres and the comfort of your apartments, which you highlighted. As the arrival formalities were not completed upon your check-in, certain essential information, notably regarding access to the ski room, was provided to you at a later stage. Great base for a relaxed skiing holiday

    rating01 Mar 2014

We stayed in a 2 bedroom with mezzanine apartment. It was very well equipped and served as a great base for our holiday. We were 4 adults, and the couple sleeping on the mezzanine used the small single bedroom as their dressing room. You are a 5 minutes walk through a car park and up a short hill to a tele-siege which takes you to a variety of pistes. You can also ski down to this lift, so it is very nearly ski to door. The apartment itself had a great kitchen area, and a normal sized fridge. This was great for doing some self catering. The sound insulation of the apartments was great. We were hardly aware at all of our neighbours. Storage was good for ski accommodation. We also booked the hot tub 1 night (extra charge), it was great for relaxing after skiing and had good views. We didn't personally use the pool, but it is covered in the winter and some friends did use it and liked it. Taking something practical to walk to and from pool/hot tub is advisable since changing area is limited and putting on walking shoes can be a bit of a pain when you are wet...You could get some food in the restaurant which is part of the complex. We just got take away pizza, and it was great. Couple of things to note - bedding and towels are not included, so if you don't want to take them with you make sure you order in advance. There is a smallish rental charge. Shopping for food is limited in Les Orres so it is advisable to shop in the town of Embrun on your way to the resort. Finally, you are expected to clean the apartment before leaving, and arrange for an inspection before you leave. You can, however, pay for the apartment to be cleaned for a charge.I would definitely consider using the accommodation again if visiting Les Orres.

    Stay in Logis

    rating09 Jan 2014

Плохой отель.//We've stayed in this apart-hotel during high season. During this time they increase prices for numbers 3 times and it completely becomes not a value for your money. 1)Assume this hotel has no pool during winter. What they have - is very cold water in summer-pool which you have to enter just from the snowy street (no indoor entrance available like in other opened-pools). 2)Assume they have no sauna (it is for just 2 persons and it is 18 euro for 40 min). 3)Assume they have no hot tub (almost the same as the sauna).Half of matrasses in apartments are in a very bad condition and hard to sleep on. Manager of hotel replied to our complaint regarding very bad matrass on bed with refusal to solve the problem and advised that he can refund the money instead. The walls are very thin and sounds very well pass them. The 3rd bedroom in 9p chalet is very small and has no heating. No heating has the bathroom on the first floor as well. So, for this price, you can find apartments in 5 star apart-hotels in 3 valleys resort. This hotel is unacceptable taken this in mind.
