    Dissatisfied

Made to pay a deposit of €300 on arrival in case anything is damaged, which is taken from your account and held for the duration of stay. I was refunded the deposit on my departure but there is a holding charge of £4.50 which isn't refunded, negligible amount but the principal remains. I can understand them taking card details but anywhere else I have stayed, they only take any money in the event of damage. If you want your bed to be made on arrival, there are additional charges of €10 per bed. If you want fresh towels during the stay, there are additional charges of €25 per person. We bought our own additional towels in the village instead. This was our first skiing trip and inexperience on our part led us to booking this accommodation, it wasn't really any cheaper than other options in the area which I have looked at retrospectively, others offer much better value for money. I would not recommend.

    Perfect location for skiing.

Very large room and extremely comfortable. The location was perfect as well – only a 5-minute bus ride from the cable car or about a 10-minute walk. There were separate lockers for ski equipment and plenty of parking available. The kitchen was a bit small, but for the price you really can’t complain.Very friendly welcome, and we also enjoyed using the billiard table. The ski area was fantastic, with very long slopes and a great variety of green, blue, and red runs.

If you are expecting comfort, this is not the Comfort Inn.

Well, I have to say it wasn’t anything like I expected. I quite honestly couldn’t recommend this establishment to anyone. When you arrive you have to pay extra £25 per person for bedding, they charge for towels even if you take your own.You are expected to clean the room, strip the beds and deliver the bedding to a ‘gurney’ down the hallway, then vacuum the carpets, mop any tiled flooring, and take your rubbish to a recycling centre which is actually off site and takes some finding.Staff were quite neutral, not friendly or particularly unfriendly, just lacking any personable interaction. The shower was good, however, I don’t travel several hundred miles just to enjoy a shower, but it was a positive, which pushed my rating from a 1* to 2. The beds, ah yes, the beds. Two single beds pushed together, making an effort to give the appearance of a king size bed, however, attempting to sleep on it was something else, like trying to sleep on a camel’s back, could have called it the big dipper to be honest., with an alpine undulation each side. The pillows were solid and unforgiving, my wife actually replaced the pillow and used her ski pants inside the pillow cover instead, was more comfortable, room temperature difficult to manage, heating on….too hot, sweating pints, couldn’t find a happy medium, sleep deprived following a few nights of trying to get my head down, fair to say, you really need to hammer the pistes or the bars and be absolutely exhausted or wasted to sleep here.Even Arnold Schwarzenegger would not say “I’ll be back!.’ So glad to be home, it never felt so good to climb into our own bed.

    More hostel than hotel

    rating07 Feb 2026

€25 for bedsheets PER PERSON despite us sleeping in the same bed. After paying €50 euro for sheets we went to get in to bed and there were no sheets to be seen! Struggled to get through to the out of hours number and when we did they hung up on us. Eventually sheets arrived and we slept well and had a comfortable stay. Upon depaeture we were told we had to strip the beds and hoover the room ourselves or sacrafice our €300 deposit. We had to take our rubbish to the bins which are a shoet walk up the road and round the corner. The receptionist literally marched us up to our room and inspected it. She gave my husband a spray and cloth to clean the mirrors which had been filthy when we arrived. We are frequent travellers and stay in all sorts of accomodation but have never quite experienced anything quite like this. This was all a suprise as the room is advertised as housekeeping included and a real shame as otheriwse the place is quite nice. Quiet and a good location for skiing. On a side note Morillon itself is VERY quiet, would suggest a nearby towj for something with a bit more buzz.
