Good quality hotel very close to local amenities and the beach
15 Jun 2022
The hotel is in a fairly quiet back-street in Saint-Raphael, close to the border with Frejus. It is less than half a kilometre from Saint-Raphael Valescure station and a similar distance from the main beach in Frejus, and the nearby seafront has a very big selection of restaurants, snack bars, ice cream shops and other amenities. The hotel itself is clean, peaceful and has good air conditioning for when the temperature is high (as it was during my stay). Breakfast is included, with a good selection of cereals, bread, croissants, sliced meats etc. I had no problems during my stay, so had no reasons to speak to reception, but each of the receptionists on duty were cheerful and pleasant to speak to. The main door is locked between 12 noon and 3pm, and again after 8pm, but the card which unlocks your room door also unlocks the front door to get in during those times. The only minor criticism that I would make is that there was no wardrobe in my room. However, there was a rack to hang clothes on, and a shelf to store smaller items, so it was possible to keep my clean clothes separate from the ones I had used.

Good quiet stay
10 Jul 2019
This is a clean, bright hotel with basic rooms and good air conditioning. We did not try the breakfast. The only request I have is that they change the floors in their rooms because it would make it more attractive and inviting. Bathrooms could use a little updating. All in all, a good stay.

Well Located, Clean, Quiet, and Comfortable Hotel
07 Apr 2019
Hotel Provencal is well located near the beaches and on the border of Frejus. It's extremely easy to get around, there are lots of restaurants and shops in the area. The rooms are clean and good size with a safe, places to hang your clothes, as well as shelving for items. The bathroom was large and with a tub. I felt very secure as a solo traveler, the building is locked after certain hours but you have a code to enter the hotel whenever it's closed.Everyone on the staff was really helpful, especially Bastion. Sorry if the spelling of his name is wrong. He was always there to help and spoke excellent English. The breakfast area is really comfortable and clean.

nice and comfortable experince, the hotel is very closed to the center of the city, any noise during the day and the night, the staff was good, the room clean with all the comfort, very high value for money
