  Small room but equipped with the necessary to eat and cook for some days. The bed was quite confortable and the room was silent. It's very easy to get to city centre by tram. In the price it was included a normal breakfast. There is the possibility to psrk the car for 5 eyros per day.

  Upper Floors Impossible to sleep due to noisy heating system on roof

  Stayed a few times and generally its good as long as you are on the lower 5 floors as there is a very noisy heating system (might be heat pump, might be ventilation fan) that runs constantly and makes far too much noise. I was awake most of the night. I will stay again but ask for a room on the lower floors. Staff really friendly and helpful. Car parking a bit small but always managed to find a space.

  It gets one star because the internet service did work. Besides that: it is far from town center and in avdry unsafe part of town. The drive into town takes you through what looks like a war torn area. All of Grenoble seems to be in decline but if you are staying hereon purpose def stay downtown. (the website claimed it was downtown... In reality youarea 15 - 20 minutes by car from downtown. Def not a walk. Rooms were shabby which was unexpected as B&B in Germany is very good. The room smelled bad... And tge bathroom was smallwith a dirty cloth shower curtain. Through the ceiling we could hear up upstairs neighbor playing basketball inthe room for over an hour. The telephone in the room was gone. No one seemed able to speak English but the e front desk staff at afternoon check in at least tried.In the morning staff was rude and tried her best to ignore everyone. She disappeared fod a long smoke break during breakfast so that we had to wait a long time to ask her to refill the food. The croissants were good. Disappointing was that they advertised eggs and ham and had none. We asked her where it was (with gestures and pointing at the breakfast advert). She only said there was none. No apologies or explanation. Just a no and a 15 minute run to smoke even though breakfast was in full swing. We did go into Grenoble. Town proper was ok. Very expensive compared to neighboring Germany (3€ fora single ice cream cone). There is a gondola heading up the hillside whichmade a fun ride with the kids. Overall thoughthe town was very rundown except for a few streets. Also on Sunday the town was mostly closed (typical for Europe to be closed on Sunday). If I were to go to Grenoble again I would no choose this hotel again. Pay more to be in a nicer neighborhood.   Ideal for a basic place to stay right next to ice arena

  Our twin room was cosy to say the least, but the location was perfect. The room was clean, the staff were all helpful and we asked them several times for information which was never a problem. The breakfast was basic but fine and at times with so many guests it challenged the staff to come up with more food and crockery. But they did it!   Good, clean, simple accomodation. Helpful staff.

  We stayed 2 nights and were very satisfied with our stay here. When we arrived the night time receptionist went out of his way to be helpful. The room was clean, comfortable bed and good shower. Easy to find and within walking distance to the AlpExpo conference centre. Good value for money.
