Location

This city hotel is located opposite train, coach, and tram stations, and is only 50 m from the "Europole" business centre and about a 10-minute walk from the city centre. Numerous restaurants can be found in the neighbouring pedestrian zone. Grenoble, Olympic city and "Capital of the Alps", is also a good starting point for excursions, especially those in the air. In addition, it is a historic and cultural city with one of the best art museums in France, and is where the French Revolution began. The city is one the "Route Napoléon" and prides itself on its countless architectural sites, including buildings from the Renaissance, a medieval cathedral, the former town hall, and Stendhal's house.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1903. 40 non-smoking rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services include a car hire service, medical assistance, room service and a laundry service. A fax machine is on hand for guests' business and communication needs.

Rooms

Central heating ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the mountain view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. A minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

    Terrible hotel — tiny bed, dirty room, no service, rude owner

    I’ve never experienced a worse hotel than this one. We arrived late in the evening and had to leave out of necessity. The bed was only 140 cm wide — nowhere was this mentioned, and in the photos it looks like a normal-sized bed. We asked for a solution because we simply didn’t fit in the bed, but there wasn’t one. No alternative bed, no sofa — the only option was to sleep on the floor. Even offering to pay extra didn’t help. We still had to pay and find another hotel ourselves. Rude staff! The room was also dirty, and the receptionist seemed to have never even seen a room before. DO NOT STAY HERE.

    A charming hotel. Hearty breakfast that includes everything needed. Very spacious rooms with huge bathrooms (we had to be lucky on this one) and very clean.The hyper central location allowed us to dine in a very warm restaurant highly recommended by the impeccable staff of the hotel. We are delighted with this getaway!

    I stayed for five days in this hotel near the railway and bus stations. It is a calm hotel with kind personnel. The breakfast is good. The room and facilities were clean and tidy. This hotel is near me main bus and tram lines that take you to almost every part of Grenoble.

    Hotel not so bad, but far from being fine. Wood florr would make noises all night. Beds not so comfy.Breakfast just regular. Service is very fine, front desk people are sympathetic and smiling. Only really negative point: my room was left with the door opened by service staff. Hopefully nothing happened. I would recommend other places for a very similar rate in the area.

    Most Terrible hotel I have ever stayed in the last 10 years. Unfriendly front desk , staff 3 times broke into my room without knocking the door , super dirty / dusty furniture and teapot . I will never stay again in my life ! lara38Paris, Propriétaire at Hotel Terminus, responded to this review We do our best to satisfy our clients , we are going to ask some answer to the lady who clean the room ,and she will modify the work .Sorry for the disappointment.
