A story you would never expect to come across in France

I spent two nights at this hotel during a business trip in September 2026. It was, by far, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.The establishment is not up to 3* standard. I stayed in two rooms – after complaining about the first one – both were poorly maintained, with neglected fixtures and fittings, and abnormal noise at night that made it impossible to rest, caused by internal fittings and glazed doors with gaps in the frames that let in all manner of outside noise, resulting in a poor night’s sleep.An outdated lift that runs erratically and sometimes gets stuck....Breakfast is poor in both quality and variety for the price you pay.From 10.30 pm onwards, there are no hotel staff on duty. They lock the doors! The one positive thing about this place is that it has a car park where you can park for free.This is what happened to me during the two days I stayed there.

Stayed here for just one night en route to Germany. I'd stay here again if passing through, or indeed extend the stay for a few days. The staff were friendly and the hotel clean. Breakfast was good, and good to have free and plenty of parking. This is not a luxury or boutique hotel, but then this is reflected in the prices - certainly good value for money. good hotel, could do with some renovations. Breakfast room had already nice renovation and breakfast was excellent. The room was very basic and the bed had seen better days. The room wasn’t soundproof , you could hear the road, the train and noise from the other rooms. The breakfast was very good, with a nice buffet.
