Great hotel in Centre of La Rochelle with parking

    rating01 Jul 2026

We had a great few days in this hotel right in the centre (very quiet) of La Rochelle. As part of a road trip being in the centre and having parking were very important. The room was lovely, not big but absolutely fine, A/C was excellent after a very hot few days, and the cold filtered still & sparkling water fountain on each floor was a very nice touch! Refinement.

    rating23 Oct 2025

Recommended by the Michelin Guide, this stylish hotel is set in the lively St Nicolas Quarter, a bohemian enclave alive with art galleries, bookshops, cafés, and quirky little bars. Perfectly placed for exploring both St Nicolas and the colourful Gabut area, it offers easy access to a maze of narrow streets, a vibrant atmosphere, and access to superb views of the Vieux Port. The in-house café is thoughtfully designed, with a welcoming interior and a pleasant terrace that invites guests to linger and soak up the neighbourhood’s charm. Don’t miss their tarte au pomme, a true afternoon-tea indulgence. For those planning an upmarket break in La Rochelle, this modern hotel is an excellent choice. Nice hotel, good location

    rating03 Aug 2025

Nice hotel, situated a few minutes walk from main tourist area. Secure car park, at extra cost but well worth it. Nice room, friendly staff. Only downside no restaurant available the night we stayed there. HOTEL ST NICOLAS Réception, Service clients/Réception at Le Saint-Nicolas Hotel La Rochelle, responded to this review Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear you have appreciated the location of the hotel and our services. We offer restauration 24h/24 with platters of cold meats and cheeses and small dishes prepared by a local caterer, and its service is available everyday (or you came after our power outage in July, which led to a loss of our stocks for a few days). We hope to have opportunity to welcome you again. Best regards,
