Location

The hotel is conveniently placed near the tourist office, the shopping centres, and the old town. Both of Lille's train stations are also nearby. Lille Lesquin Airport, Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport and Brussels Airport are some 10, 125 and 129 km away from the hotel respectively.

    Beautiful rooms, communication could be improved

    Beautiful stylish high ceiling rooms, we enjoyed old style bathroom. The breakfast was ok, good value for families as kids eat free.One note in regards to family rooms - there were 4 of us and we have requested small amendments several times, like to have 4 cups in the room for tea, however they were silently ignored, promised to be delivered but never turned up unfortunately.     Room was pleasant. Breakfast was adequate. The stay was comfortable and we enjoyed Lille but the experience was spoilt when I left my expensive Parker pen on the bedside table but the cleaning staff never handed it in.     The Grand Bellevue hotel embodies everything you would expect from a classic 5 star, luxury hotel in Switzerland- it's beautiful, mixes traditional and modernity, the service is impeccable and the food is outstanding. I also enjoyed their beautiful and tasteful spa which I highly recommend.     We had a lovely room looking over the Square, room was clean and ready for us when we arrived at 12:30 , water in the halls that you can fill up when ever you want , hotel roof top bar was great and very friendly staff . All of the hotel were helpful and pleasant . recommend stay especially for location.     Not a Great Experience

    We booked three nights at this hotel in December to visit the Christmas markets. After other great hotel experiences prior to arriving in Lille, we were very disappointed by the condition of this hotel. The lobby is nice but that is where it ends. The floors with rooms are very worn and shabby. The first room we were assigned smelled of cigarette smoke covered with fragrance. We asked for another room which smelled better but was still shabby. The carpet is almost shag (yuck). The toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. The knob on the bathroom door was falling off. The shower leaked onto the floor. There are spots on the carpet in the hallways where it appears bleach was spilled. I hate to think of what type of stain or mess someone tried to clean with bleach. We checked out a day early. That said, the view of the Christmas market from our room was amazing!
