  The Tram stops directly outside this hotel which is in the business district so useful. We had breakfast which was basic but okay. Room clean and comfortable, quiet at night. Not many places to eat in area but easy to go centre of lille on tram. Irish bar nearby with good choice of beers.   Comfortable, welcoming hotel with excellent breakfast and good location

  We were very happy with this hotel. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet at night. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of quality ingredients for all tastes. The staff were helpful, in particular Benjamin who was very welcoming when we arrived. The location is very convenient to reach from Lille Europe station, about a 10 minute walk. It is a good 20 minutes to the centre which was a good way to work off the generous breakfast!   A nice hotel

  We stayed two nights at Hôtel Art Déco Euralille in December.The location of the hotel is not great. It is located in the business district, about 15 minutes walk from Lille Europe Station and about 30 minutes walk from the city centre. Especially on a Sunday evening it was difficult to find a place to eat nearby. Luckily we managed to get a table at a Sicilian restaurant close by which was excellent.The room was OK. The good points were that that is was spacious with a lot of storage space, a good table for working and an empty mini fridge. The sound insulation of the windows was very good. The drawbacks were that there was no kettle nor a coffee machine. We liked the bathroom because it had a shower and a bathroom combination. One of us liked to have a bath and one of us liked having a shower so we were both happy. Also the heated towel rack was nice.The breakfast was simple but sufficient. All the items were of high quality even though the choice could have been better.One thing which impressed us was the housekeeping of both the common areas and the room. They were cleaning the common areas several times a day and the room was always in an impeccable condition, also when we left the room at 12:30. When we returned from our sightseeing the room was in impeccable condition.   A comfortable short stay near the centre of Lille

  Had a very successful stay of two nights at the Art Deco Euralille hotel, as part of a deal with Eurostar including a train journey from London to Lille and return. Got a comparatively good price for the hotel, although if I had booked directly with the hotel the price was very reasonable. Billed as a 3-star hotel, in many ways it was as good as most 4-star hotels (some of which claim 4 stars that they don't deserve). Art Deco Euralille is in a very good location, just in front of the tram stop Romarin, which has a direct link to the Lille Eurostar station. A medium-sized hotel, with fun Art Deco architecture and interiors, it offered everything we needed for a short break in a city full of restaurants. The room was not large (but what urban French hotel has large rooms?), but large enough for a very good, full-sized bed. The bathroom, too, wasn't large, but large enough to move round comfortably, and include a bath with shower above. Everything worked, and there was plenty of hot water. The bedroom was nicely decorated, had a TV, good wifi and air con. There was cupboard space for two people and plenty of light. No coffee-making equipment in the room, but you were welcome to make coffee or tea for yourself downstairs at any time. There was a cool water dispenser in the passage just outside our room. The breakfast included in the price of the room was quite generous (although not the 'full English' that full-service hotels might offer). Fresh juices, mixed fruit salad, fresh scrambled eggs, and a good variety of fresh breads and pastries. Also fresh fruit to eat or take away. The staff were accomodating, spoke good English, and the night reception man was ready to engage in a long, interesting conversation about all and sundry (including politics). A charming and well-informed young man! Altogether a satisfactory and comfortable stay at a very moderate price. I'd go back again. Merci beaucoup.   More than disappointing

  I am baffled by most of the reviews which have said quiet location. This hotel is situated alongside a dual carriage way and a massive crane towers across the road. It is indeed a 15 minute walk into the centre of Lille, but the only way to get there is by walking along the dual carriage way. I live in London and would not consider this to be a safe walk, unless it was daytime.There is nowhere close to this hotel to get a bite to eat and the hotel does not serve any food apart from the breakfast.The breakfast was very disappointing. Stale croissant, scrambled egg ( which wasn't even egg) . Chipped mugs, hardly any cutlery. The room was clean but very dark, there were only bedside lights and no main light. Paper cups on the tea and coffee tray and a cardboard spoon. The plug in the bath did not work, so had to resort to a quick bird bath in 2 inches of water before it ran out.Never again Guest Relation, Owner at Hotel Art Deco Euralille, responded to this review Dear Tracey, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback.
