    This hotel had such easy access to the Lille Market but the staff was the star

    We chose this hotel because we wanted close access to the Lille market this weekend. Originally planned for just one night but the rooms, the location, the breakfast and especially the staff were so helpful that we extended our stay. The metro was a short 10 min walk away and it went directly to the annual Lille Market which is in City Center, I would highly recommend this hotel. The second night we came back to the hotel just as the staff had cleaned all the coffee pots but the host said not to worry as he went to the bar and prepared us two cups of coffee with cookies that we enjoyed in our rooms.     super friendly service for this rather anonymous hotel. we stayed there for the Bruce Springsteen concert in May and it was purely for convenience. rooms ok but very standard, but it fit the requirement as only 15 min walk to the concert. with parking too. when the reception heard it was my birthday, my husband and I got a free glass of champagne!     It has been a long time since I regretted staying at a hotel. While this stay wasn't catastrophic, it was bad enough I would refuse to return. The wifi was basically non-functional, the doors would be randomly locked at night without warning, the shower had no pressure, the soap left me slimy, and the bed left me in mild pain. In their favour, the location is very convenient for the university and the breakfast was fine, Also, the daytime staff were very friendly but largely incapable of doing anything about any of my issues.     the hotel is roomy, but when its hot outside it is hot inside. but the venue for the handballgame we went was very near....personell is friendly and helpful. Vous pouvez même les visitez complétement en 3D. Nous regrettons de vous avoir satisfait que partiellement sur nos chambres et appréciation vos commentaires sur notre restaurant.Heureusement, nous sommes à 5 minutes à pied du stade Pierre Mauroy et du métro "Cité Scientifique" ce qui était déterminant pour vous.L'équipe de la réception.
