I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and wish I had booked it for a lot longer. It’s a great hotel, not too large, not too small and the service is absolutely incredible – from the owner (who is on the premises from morning to evening), the receptionist (who responded to my many mails faster than any other hotel I’ve stayed at), and the dining room staff and the cleaning staff who could not do enough for one. Always so helpful and so cheerful even when they were run off their feet. They all spoke various languages so no guests were left embarrassed.The hotel is a little removed from the manic hustle and bustle that is Lourdes and that was so very welcome. Easy enough to find it you walk along the river and just as you make a left, there it is. There's also a bus stop about 3 minutes from the front door and there appears to be a lot of parking opposite - though I didnt have a car so not sure if it had to be paid for.Plentiful buffet breakfast and, as I had half board, the most delicious meals at a 3-course dinner. So, in addition to everyone/everything else, they also have a very good chef. And well-priced wines. Not like other hotels who put huge mark-ups on everything.The hotel is extremely reasonably priced altogether and so no wonder that the other residents I spoke to had been returning every year for a pretty long time and staying for weeks and even months. The weather was a little hotter than people would have liked but who can legislate for that? Better certainly than wet and cold.I hope to go back to Lourdes some time and without a doubt will stay at the Esplanade-Eden again. I was so delighted to find a place like that by chance. What a treasure.

This hotel is very clean. Very friendly staff. The lady at the desk was very helpful and since we had an early flight she also arranged for us to have an early breakfast. Food is good. Location is quiet with a big parking area in front of the hotel. Shower is hand held. We were on a half board basis. Breakfast is served at 7 am and dinner at 7pm. Since we do not like fish they offered us chicken instead. Would highly recommend!

A little away from the noise of the town and a great hotel.Air con in all rooms..food great..staff always happy to help.The family go the extra mile to ensure all guests are comfortable and happy. Plenty space for small or large meetings...great bar...nothing too much trouble for them..

A clean hotel, not expensive and, with a tremendous staff!We were there for two nights and one of the boys got sick.The manager changed our reserve in order to aloud us to have the meals at a cheaper price, twice!They looked for food that could fit the sick kid requirements.Simply wonderful atitude.Very grateful!

Quiet. (away from the endless crowds) but a lovely clean, friendly family run hotel with good food, helpful staff who speak many languages and a lovely atmosphere .Comfortable beds with extra pillows & blankets, clean towels daily as well as air conditioning in each room. Nothing is a problem for them.
