Lourdes' shrines are just a few steps from the hotel so that guests are able to visit several times a day on foot, without need of a car. Due to the fact that the establishment overlooks Bernadette Soubirous Avenue and is close to the Pont Vieux, it finds itself at the heart of life in Lourdes (banks, pharmacies, bars, shops, ice-cream parlours, and bookshops). The train station is approximately 1.5 km away. Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées Airport is about 15 km away and Pau Pyrénées Airport is about 45 km from the hotel.

Disappointing stay – outdated, poor housekeeping, and unfair room assignments

?I was here on an organized group pilgrimage and paid a single supplement for my own room. I expected a true 4-star experience, but it fell far short. While two other solo travelers in my group were randomly upgraded to nice views, I was assigned a dark, severely outdated room. When I asked to change, the front desk brushed me off with excuses about being fully booked.?The next day, I was moved to another room on the same ugly 3rd floor. It had a larger window with a bit more light, but the room itself was still old and tired. To make matters worse, I noticed biscuit crumbs on the floor behind the curtain. Housekeeping never cleaned them. I even left a written note on the bed explicitly asking for the floor to be vacuumed, but the crumbs remained there until I checked out. Housekeeping clearly only makes the bed and swaps towels—no actual cleaning takes place.?On the positive side, the location is great, and a few staff members were pleasant (though others were quite miserable). Overall, I was very disappointed. I tried to enjoy my pilgrimage, but I will never return or recommend this hotel. Next time, I’ll stay somewhere clean and modern.Please do not waste your money like I did ! Its not a 4* hotel and you can hear everything next door even people snoring! it is far from a 4 star hotel food is awful so many people were sick with cramps and vomiting. I was sharing a room with my friend it was so small we asked for a bigger room we were told we were in the biggest room but after a delay we had to stay another night and we got a much bigger room staff in the restaurant are so rude. Food a basically lettuce onions cheese and fish one lady got chicken with the blood running out of it.
