This is NOT a 3 star hotel. I agree with other travellers that it is more in line with a hostal. The carpet in the bedroom was stained and dirty. The bathroom ceiling has open slats which you can see all the pipes. The food in the dining room was awful and the female waiting staff member very rude. Kicked the kitchen door constantly to open it and on our first night started sweeping the floor when we were eating. We had a set menu as we were in a group and although I had previously advised that I did not eat meat, no alternatives were given only the meat removed from my serving. After the second night and after much persuasión, an omelette was made much to the disgust of the rude female waiting staff. I do not recommend staying in this hotel as they are many more hotels in the area which hopefully would welcome tourists.

I booked a single room in this hotel 7th until 10 of Oct, the room was cell like in appearance but clean and very adequate for one,plenty of hot water and clean towels. Here is the strange part , as i was full board I was asked three times to eat lunch outside of the hotel by the management, once in a hotel over the bridge and twice in the restaurant brasserie Italian, beside the hotel It was quite funny on reflection and a very faulty towers scenario. To be honest the staff were very good about the whole thing and I was well looked after It's a very comfortable hotel and clean and neat You quite simply get what you pay for I will return and stay there again No problem at all I recommend this hotel without hesitation.

I was visiting Lourdes and my precious favourite hotels have all closed or no longer exist. I am sorry to say that Lourdes is losing it's clientele little by little. Each new year I visit, the less people I see compared to the 80's and 90's.It is a lot easier to find a hotel now that in the past. I choose this on price as I only needed a bed for the night. I also needed a parking which they had. It was relatively expensive at 8 Euros considering the room cost me 38 Euros. I did not have breakfast which was also extra as I needed to be at the baths early.The room was dated, very basic, more suited to the early 60's and has obviously been treated with loving tender care for a long time. The fire escape is on the outside, a metals stair case. I always check how I might get out in case of fire after a previous experience in a hotel in Luxembourg.The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was reasonable for a night but lacks any character. If you are visiting Lourdes and need to stay a night maybe two then it would be fine.

Rude and offensive receptionist

We booked for our honeymoon, reading the hotel policies that dogs are accepted. The receptionist said we cannot leave our dog alone even for an hour to visit the sanctuary. He dared to say that we should not leave our dog, and went on to comparing it to a child, that if it was a human child we would not have left it?!??! Absolutely nonsensical, considering DOGS are not allowed to the sanctuary. We cancelled immediately! Have never been given life advice from hotel staff before, inappropriate and rude to customers!

Bonjour, C'est un débat intéressant que vous soulevez : devons nous acceptez que des clients utilisent l'hôtel comme garderie d'animaux parce que ceux-ci ne sont pas admis dans les Sanctuaires ! C'est ce que vous n'avez pas voulu comprendre et qui vous a énervé. Dans ce cas mieux vaut effectivement annuler la réservation. Cela ne nous pose pas de problèmes d'accueillir des chiens (moins de 5kg) mais pour avoir vécu une mauvaise experience avec un chien qui pendant plus de 2 heures à aboyé dans la chambre en absence de ses maîtres nous préférons aujourd'hui dès l'arrivée des clients les informer de ces nouvelles dispositions. Une prochaine fois, acceptez ces arguments, ne vous énervez pas, n'insultez pas le réceptionniste, ne vous défoulez pas en laissant un mauvais commentaire sur TriAdvisor et puis ... en voyage de noce, occupez vous plus de votre mari que de votre chien !Bien cordialement :)

Comfortable hotel, free Wi-Fi, good breakfast selection, large public parking area nearby. 10 to 15 mins walk to the Shrine. Friendly staff. Quiet hotel, no problems. Good value, worth a look if you want to stay in Lourdes
