We have been staying at this hotel every year for at least the past five years, and it has definitely become our go-to place. The staff is always wonderful—super friendly, welcoming, and helpful.The location is perfect for us, especially being so convenient to the Sanctuary. It makes getting back and forth very easy.The rooms are on the smaller side, but honestly, they work perfectly for us since we don’t come here to spend our vacation sitting in the room! Everything has always been clean, the hotel is very quiet, and the overall atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing.Our only real complaint is the bath soap. It feels more like hand soap and isn’t something you really want to shower with after a long day. During our one-week stay, I ended up buying my own soap. They also didn’t have small washcloths available, which was a little surprising and would have been nice to have.The value is great, especially since a daily breakfast buffet is included. It’s definitely smaller than the typical American-style buffet, but it has everything you need to get your morning started before heading out for the day.Overall, for a clean, quiet, friendly, and budget-friendly hotel in a great location, we really can’t complain. There’s a reason we keep coming back year after year. We had another great stay and will definitely be back again next year!

San Saveur Hotel is perfect for staying in Lourdes,L. Great location, close to Grotto. Clean comfortable bed, professional attentive staff, beautiful modern bathroom.

Great location but over priced and unethical, some unhelpful staff particularly the receptionists and breakfast staff

At the time of booking the only option was to pay in full. By the time we arrived the rooms could be booked for £700 less! This is unethical. Leila the receptionists shouted at anyone not French and was unhelpful with any request including asking whether you need to book for dinner or where can we leave wheelchairs. The breakfast staff were grumpy and you had to ask for plates to be refilled which was met with stomping and banging plates on the table. It was busy because of the Papal visit but that was not the guests fault. The bar staff were great as were the staff in the ice cream parlour. Book the sister hotel, Hotel Panorama, much better experience.

Unfortunately I will not be recommending this hotel to family and friends. When I had booked my rooms, I enquired about parking. I was told parking was 15 euros, which I thought was satisfactory. Upon departing the hotel, we were told parking was 23 euros! That was totally, totally disgraceful! Especially in the town of Lourdes!
