  Clean, spacious, modern, well situated. The room and bathroom was spacious and had many power connections as well as multi connections for phone etc

  Horrible we booked a suite with balcony and ended up with a room without balcony, no AC in 38 celsius. A railroad within 100 meters that was so noicy ... Dont recommend at all. Told the personell directly that we had booked a suite with balcony the didn"t care at all! Will never ever go there again!!!   Quiet, large rooms, balcony, very large bathrooms, friendly staff, great breakfast. A bit off from the central Lyon but otherwise super and great price. Will come back.

  You are better off living somewhere else. Odalys is a classic case study of "What not to do" when running an apartment hotel. I arrived at 10.30 pm to Odalys and there was a grumpy sounding lady who gave me these specific instructions.Make sure you come down by 12 noon on the date of your departure to collect your invoice, Ensure you bring your trash down and Do not forget to give us the key back. It was a plastic card. I dont understand why the french do not understand customer service at all - same three things could have been conveyed much betterThe room is small, no provisions like basic salt or sugar or coffee in the hotel, no airconditioner, its taped over. There is a heater but if you feel too hot you have to depend on opening the windows to let cool air in and maybe a bird or two may also come in. All french hotels do not have water (drinkable) and you have to carry your own, so i dont want to give negative points for that. The key didnt work and at 11.00 i had to make one more round down to get the key to work. Then the key stopped working after one day and same rigmarole. Breakfast is not half decent - you are better off doing some off the shelf bread from the boulangerie across the street. All this when they are charging you 150 $... per night. Bad experience and i strongly advise you to avoid.   One night the access card to the room did not work, instead of repairing it they wanted us to go to another room to sleep, leaving all our things inside (chargers, pajamas, medicines...).We said no way, and we spent more than an hour at reception to gain access, in the end it was only necessary to remove the protection from the door to be able to use a key to open. But the night staff had no idea how to solve it.On the part of the accommodation there was not even an apology after staying from 11:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. without being able to enter the room already paid for.
