  Easy, basic, and just what we needed.

  This place was a surprise in more ways than one. First of all, it's in a modern industrial park. We picked it because we were taking a morning flight out of Lyon's airport. This place was convenient by taxi (we had no car) as well as reasonably priced. Second, the friendly staff was particularly helpful and the hotel itself, while very simple, was clean, straightforward, and just what we needed. Third, we walked about three minutes over to a delightful contemporary restaurant called Le Comptoir de Jules and had a very pleasant meal. We will stay here again the next time we fly in or out of Lyon.

  Great stopover hotel

  We stopped here on our way to the alps. Staff were very welcoming, rooms clean and just what you need. We popped over the road to the pizza place, you need to walk out of the estate turn right, right again and then cross over the road. Food was good here and again just what we need after a 12hr drive. We didn’t try breakfast as up early but would stay here again. Easy safe parking outside.

  This was our overnight stop on the way to Adriatic Coast to have some sleep and breakfast.At the check in member of staff was pleasant and friendly, area seems to be very quiet and safe.Room was small and basic, no kettle or coffee machine, but thought we are going to manage for 1 night. Unfortunately found some hair on the bathrooms wall,very squeamish about things like that as literally think where's more hair and my mind didn't stop thinking about them for the rest of the stay, absolutely disgusting! (This was found the moment we stepped into the room as we always check everything before using anything)The next morning group of bikers was getting ready for some tour, we didn't mind but thought how inefficient breakfast staff were considering the breakfast room was small and easy manageable.There was a guy and a girl. Empty tables at the breakfast should be a priority so when new people come for breakfast they can sit at clean table, all empty ones were filthy, lots of food missing even though it was only after 9am so still nearly an hour till the end of breakfast and a guy was standing there either behind or next to the bar and just looking around but doing zero work, the girl at least looked busy. Generally breakfast choice and quality very basic. This could be a good spot for a rest for us for next time when we drive through France/Italy but after this experience we will be looking for a different place and definitely not recommending to friends who travel the same route.   We arrived at about 10pm due to problems with the cross channel ferries, but were reassured by the idea that there was 24 hour access to this hotel.Unfortunately, when we arrived we were unable to check in. The machine at the entrance was broken (someone had smashed the screen) and it was so dark that we didn't immediately see a note attached to it which gave a phone number to call instead. We were unable to get into the car park because there were two barriers with pin pads. We managed to get through both eventually when other people arrived. Once we got in, we were stuck since we couldn't leave so we had to wait for other people to come in.There was no response to our pressing the help button on the intercom and the person I spoke to on the phone was completely unhelpful. I understand that I don't speak French very well, but I try and the person speaking to me made no effort to speak more slowly so that I could understand what he was saying. He hung up on my wife.When I got a fluent french speaking friend to call, they didn't answer.Eventually, we followed a french couple into the lobby and they drew our attention to an envelope which was left on the side with the room key in it and the access codes!When we got to the room, it was tidy but stank of smoke.Overall it was extremely stressful and I feel that it should have been made clear what the arrangements were if you check in later in the evening. It would not have been difficult to send an email explaining that if you check in late, an envelope will be left on the side with the key in it etc. We have two young children and nearly continued driving to our destination as we weren't sure we could actually get into the hotel.   Great value, fantastic room

  Just what we needed for our last night before flying home. Very good service at reception. Excellent price. We were given two connected rooms for the four of us so had loads of space. Would certainly stay again.
