    Do not reccomend

    rating13 Sept 2024

I stayed here for 2 nights and i do not reccomend it. It is as a hostel level hotel, the lamps near the bed were not working, breakfast was very very simple (french scramble eggs, yogurt, pastry)...but most importantly there were cokaroaches in the room 😬. Never again.

    Clean and basic

    rating15 Sept 2022

I stayed here for 3 nights whilst attending a conference. The hotel was basic and the room fairly spartan but it had all the essentials: air-con, a good shower, and the room was cleaned every day. The staff were really helpful and were able to lend me a hairdryer when my adaptor broke. It was about 10 mins walk to the conference centre, and was also close to a bus stop, a couple of grocery stores, and a bakery. Overall, it was fine for what it was!

    short stay one single night

    rating02 Sept 2022

Initiatively I was checked in to a clean room, clean linen, pillows, and towels, It's a pleasent atmosphere with very polite staffs and front desk team very helpful and easy going, they are always ready to help, if something has to be changed is the name of the hotel hhhhhh because the name is bed & breakfast but the hotel doesn't offer any breakfast but for one night it wasn't a challenge for me.you have tv and wifi .....

Rude staff, no parking, shabby hotel

    rating10 Dec 2019

This was a shockingly bad experience. 1) Despite many free spaces we were denied parking2) The staff were rude and shouted at us after keeping us waiting on check in3) The mirror in the lift was kicked in, there was broken glass strewn around4) The room was poky, cheap and nasty. This hotel experience ruined our evening. So bad that we left immediately and drove 5 hours home. Also note that I gave feedback on the check in process through the Expedia survey. The management then contacted me twice to defend their position and argue further. There are other budget hotels to choose from that much be better than this scum hole. Michael F, Reception at B&B HOTEL Lyon Caluire Cite Internationale, responded to this review Dear Robert,As seen together directly at hotel and then by email / phone, we thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and while we wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. There wasn't any problem with your reservation, but our underground parking (40 spots for 120 rooms) is an option you have to ask for. On your booking file that I checked, there is nothing concerning your wish of having one. The night of your arrival, all our places were already sold, for safety reasons we can't obviously sell places we don't have, and you have many public parkings around that our staff indicated you. The free spaces you saw were already booked even if guests had not park yet. Maybe some places were free but all our 40 places were reserved, we didn't have more spaces to sell on our software so that means that every space was taken. Some people used their cars to go somewhere or not check-in yet and it's because you see free places and yes, when you go to expedia.com it's says " limited parking spaces" The staff didn't refused anything they did their job and keep the places for those that reserved. We're sorry the room doesn't fit you, so as the environment nearby the hotel. Concerning the staff, we just tried to explain you this, and no mirror is broken in lifts, so as no glass is on the floor. As seen with you directly, you received the refund of all payment, We hope to welcome you again to improve your judgement of our hotel,Sincerely,

    Budget Inn

    rating09 Jul 2019

We were on the 1st floor. Sort of a Motel 6 feel to the place. It was cheap and clean. Location is not great, as it was not near a metro line. There is a bus that stops right out front that goes to the city center in about 5 minutes, however. We were there for the Woman's World Cup games, so the rate was a little higher than normal. Breakfast was sufficient. The neighborhood was just so-so. A couple of places to eat, but I'd recommend going to the city center and then eating there or walking over to the old town. Our tub was blocked, and it took them about 12 hours to fix it, but tey did. If you can afford it stay near the city center or a metro line. Michael F, General Manager at B&B HOTEL Lyon Caluire Cite Internationale, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Indeed, the hotel is pretty far from metro lines, but there are many buses which can take you either to the city center, either to the train station. We are sorry for the time of intervention, but we hope to welcome you back to our hotel very soon!Sincerely,
