No breakfast and workers coming into my room uninvited

    rating29 Aug 2019

I was told I could not have my breakfast on the first morning because I arrived after 7pm the night before and did not book it! It's a cheap buffet breakfast, I'm sure there would have been plenty of food, and it's called a BnB hotel!! I had no option to book it when I booked the hotel, and I am sure lots of guests arrive late like myself. In many years of staying in hotels I have never been denied breakfast if I was prepared to pay!!!I also had workers that kept trying to come into my room whilst I felt ill one afternoon!!! I went to breakfast and come back to find my room door open, with all my personal possession on view for everyone to see! I was scared to get changed in case the workers came in!!! :-(!!! Very very poor!! Noise was also very annoying!!I should be fair though and say, the reception area was clean and tidy, and the room wasn't too bad either, apart from the super cheap loo roll (I went out and bought some of my own). Breakfast when I got it was sort of ok, but at 6 euros I can't really complain too much!

    More a Hostel than Hotel.

    rating27 Jan 2019

Stayed for two nights as the “hotel” is next to the building where I had some meetings. First thing, read about the hotel first before booking. In essence it’s simply a room with a bed, no extras, if you go prepared it’s OK for 1 or 2 nights. There is a breakfast on offer but the standard & choice is basic. There are plenty of places to eat or buy snacks and the metro is about 5 minutes walk.Didn’t really interact with any staff so can’t comment.

    Very pleased!

Pretty centrally positioned with a wonderfully patient receptionist! It has underground, private parking. The rooms are modern, contemporary, clean and tidy. The en-suite was small but functional with a decent shower. Oh, and for breakfast not only did they have the usual, boring, continental fayre that every French hotel does but they had eggs and bacon! Well done!

    Basic but good!

Just an overnight stay but it was perfect for a bed, shower and somewhere to store our backpacks. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk, depending on your speed, from the nearest metro. Monplaisir Lumiere. When coming out of the metro you will see a big B&B logo down one of the roads. The hotel itself isn't luxurious, but it's perfect for a pit stop.Staff were polite and check in was easy.Room was basic but if you read what you get and read reviews you won't be disappointed. Our room was clean and everything worked fine. Bed was a little hard for my liking but after a lot of travelling and exploring, it still didn't stop us sleeping. Breakfast was cereal, breads, pastries, yoghurts, scrambled egg and bacon with a variety of drinks.Nothing special but nothing bad. If you're not overly fussy this hotel is perfect for you. It is so basic but for 1-3 nights I'd say it's perfect. The metro station is easy access to all the attractions and landmarks. We spent no longer than 20 minutes on the metro travelling to the landmarks ect.Part-Dieu is close by.Lifts, rooms and entrance (when shut at night) are all navigated by an access code which you will be given at check in. Great idea I think.I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
