Location

The city hotel is located in Lyon, a 5-minute walk from Place Bellecour and the Old Town, and just 50 m from the Perrache TGV train station.

12 single rooms and 32 double rooms are available to guests in a 5-storey main building and a 2-storey auxiliary building. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     Serious Access Problems – Extremely Difficult Arrival by Car

    We arrived late at night in heavy rain while travelling with my disabled mother. Google Maps directs you to the hotel, but the road is blocked by an official “no entry” sign. There is no clear information explaining how guests are supposed to legally reach the entrance.The hotel mentioned having special permission, but as a driver I could not ignore a traffic sign and risk a fine. Another possible access route is controlled by retractable bollards requiring a remote control, which was not provided.Parking is located about 1 km away, with no covered or accessible path to the hotel. For a disabled guest, especially at night and in bad weather, this is not realistic.We were unable to check in and had to find another hotel. The property refused to issue a refund.Guests with mobility limitations should clarify access conditions before booking.

    Very accessible to transportation and very clean room. The Air conditioning and wifi were also working well. Overall, we enjoyed our short stay.

    They had the wrong room for us (twin room was booked, became a single room)a and said they could not change as they were fully booked. Strangely enough rooms were bookable by other websites. I never had a room disappointing as this one. A strong recommendation not to go here. There is no side table or anything like that next to the bed, which you can only enter from one side. There is no room for your suitcase, except on the bed (but then...where you sleep). There is no chair in the room, just a small hocker before a tiny tiny shelf, that cannot be named a table. There is no sufficient place to hang clothing and there is no closet for that (which you can close against the dust in the room). Do not start about a water cooker or anything .. it is not there (we had to stay here for 6 nights). The bed is probably years old and the matrass is fully out of shape, so you can expect a hernia and a doctors visit afterwards. Probably the room is about 6m2. Be careful in the little shower (with a broken showerhead), because if you move you come against the handle form the crane with a decent chance either to burn alive or get a really cold shower. About the hotel itself : most employees do not speak English and have to use their phone with google translate, The elevator barely fits 1 person with a suitcase and definitely not more. The breakfast is the minimum what you could expect. Some croissants, cold hardboiled eggs already peeled and some poor lonely, tiny little sausages of the cheapest kind. So do yourself a favour and not make the mistake like we did. Complaints did not help, because they will not speak English and basically if you have paid ... they don't care anymore for their customers. The location is 2 stars, 1 star is even too much for the room and the service. The bedding was completely renewed in 2022 with high-end products made in France, including Bultex mattresses. The photos you posted clearly show the modern, renovated look of the room.Our 24-hour reception would be happy to install a kettle in your room, but we have not received a request from you.     Reservation failed because of their incompetence!

    I did a reservation for a stay in this Hotel through Booking, as I already did several times in various hotels in France and abroad.The staff was not able to manage the reservation through credit card because of THEIR INCOMPETENCE.My Bank explained me that the Hotel did not required a two factor validation for the transation (compulsory in all the EU from 2021), so the transation was canceled.I called the Hotel and the Operator was totally unable, not only to solve the problem, but even to understand it! She was so useless that if it wasn't for the voice tone I could believe to speak with a three years old kid!So I was forced to book another Hotel where, with the exact same procedure and same credit card, everything run smoothly!Really the MOST INCOMPETENT hotel Operator I ever met in my very long trip experience!!     Great location, friendly staff, space considerably good. 2 mins walk from the train station Garre de Lyon-Perrache and just across a tram station. The staff were welcoming & helpful. The hotel seemed newly renovated, room size relatively alright and spacious bathroom. The hotel also had a small lift (fit 1 person with luggage), so might need to take turns if you come in group.
